 Tell Cristian to keep his mobile on, just in case someone needs a real doctor.
BTW, as far as I know Suri Cruise (Tom Cruise's and Katie Holmes' daughter) was born in a hospital... :hmm:
Yeah! Tom spitted his own face this time....
About Cristian: He says that if you want his mobile number youll have to think of another trick. He´s not falling for tha one Fran
Silvia, just make sure Cris isn't converted - you'd hate to give birth in silence now, wouldn't you?
Totally!!!!!!! My dreamed birth......SCREAMING, SCREAMING, Cursing my husband for putting his hands on me :angry2: ;angry: , and.... Oh yeah!...... SCREAMING

Ouch, my trick did not work.
Anyway, Tom Cruise is free to go to whomever he wants when he's sick, even fellow Scientologists, if he thinks that they're the best at taking care of his health, but I'd still choose a regular doctor.
Totally!!!!!!! My dreamed birth......SCREAMING, SCREAMING, Cursing my husband for putting his hands on me :angry2: ;angry: , and.... Oh yeah!...... SCREAMING
And rest assured that Alan won't be shocked by your screaming.

Off Course Alan Won´t mind.......He´ll be screaming his ears off himself!!!
Sorry the trick didn´t work Fran. Better luck next time!!!!!!!!

Cris should be grateful he isn't my husband!(for a lot of reasons, but....)
My hubby left the delivery room with a huge bruise on his jaw after I right-hooked him, when he (dangerously) obeyed the midwife's orders to hold me down. I blame the drugs! :whistle

...., all he needs is for Alice to become a yummy mummy and he’ll be taking on the likes of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt...
:rotf: In their dreams perhaps!! Thanks for the chuckle though.
Matthew Rhys: Critics said he was the best thing in season one of Brothers & Sisters, and with season two starting in May we haven’t heard the last of Matthew’s international popularity. Also, look out for him in the Dylan Thomas biopic, The Edge of Love, in the spring, where he stars alongside Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller.
He is the best thing in season 1 AND season 2 and off course I am not biased AT ALL:whistle . (Allright, sorry, sorry, I am just hooked on the series and I'm suffering from withdrawel, now I have to wait yet another 3 to 4 weeks before I know the outcome of the triangle Kevin/Scotty/Jason. I swear, that if Kevin picks Jason in 2.11 or 2.12. I will personally and gladly strangle Kevin. :sun )
Can't wait for 'The Edge of Love' either. Hope it will play in the cinema. With the name of Keira Knightley attached it just might.

IC Wales is a bit biased, it gets annoying really.
Thanks anyway Annee, you posting articles is really appreciated even if I constantly whinge about them.

I quite agree with you, Kaitlyn, that IC Wales is a bit biased at times in its highlighting anything and anyone connected with Wales.
However, nice mentions. Thanks for sharing, Annee.

This could be subject for my studies, but instead..... I´ll take the advice and maybe practice it with Cris when the time comes
Nice find Annee, you are right.... this is a very cute mention!!!!

It just annoys me that they are so convinced Ioan is like one step away from uber fame. He's not and he can't be compared to Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise because he simply isn't anywhere near their level. He's been working at becoming an A-lister for ten years and people still don't really know his name, he's not close yet and it annoys me that they make out like he is.
Frances- 01-22-2008
In fact, though at IC Wales they seem to be convinced that Ioan is just one step away from kind of fame Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are enjoying, the average reaction that I get when I mention his name is "Ioan who?" So though he can make it there one day, I agree with you, Kaitlyn, that Ioan is not anywhere near stardom status yet.

i agree Zoo and Frances. And you know what?
I'll say it aloud.............I wish he stayed in the UK and was still making TV stuff for BBC as well as his movies. I cannot see how (apart from the lifestyle) living in LA has helped his career!
Plenty of UK stars happily live in London, raise their families and travel abroad for movie roles.
At home stars like the gorgeous James Macavoy are now hitting the big time. I hope that his move to LA doesn't turn out to be the worst thing in the long term. He never got a look in for roles in "Atonement" that feautured his fellow co stars in AG like Benedict Cumberbatch and Romola Garai. Now that was some movie...............
You just have to wonder?

Problem is, there is no way to know. The advantage to L.A. is the social scene. You go to parties, premieres, charity events, etc. and an actor has more of a chance to meet and get to know the people hiring for a majority of films produced. You could travel over to audition, but being able to just drop in near to home makes you more available.
Are English Production Companies still producing a lot of original, high quality programing like HH or are the television networks doing reality shows like America? Maybe someone from our English contingent could tell us.
StevieT- 01-23-2008
There are alot of reality shows around (yawn!) but there's also some marvelous period dramas coming along. Recent dramatisations like Cranford , Sense and Sensibility and Larkrise to Candleford were a joy. However they tend to feature largely unknown, if very talented, actors in the young leads and I wonder if Ioan would not fall between two stools here - not well known enough for Hollywood, too well-known (or expensive?) for British TV.
We have some excellent drama series too, like Foyle's War (new episodes out, which I'm particularly pleased about) and Stephen Fry's Kingdom, too many to mention really. And don't get me started on the calibre of our documentaries, current affairs programmes and well-loved soaps. I'm a big Brit TV fan - can you tell?
Ioan says that moving to LA was a gamble he took to push his career in the way that he saw it going. It must be frustrating to be constantly on the brink of stardom and never quite stepping in to it (or being allowed to stay in it, more accurately.

Yeah, we're all plagued by those!

I agree!
From memory he was offered work some years back (Dr. Zhivago for example) but it was quite publicised that he knocked it back because they didn't offer enough money.
We get many of the BBC dramas and comedies on our ABC (including Foyles war). There is a great one at the moment with Benedict Cumberbatch (William Pitt in AG) called "To the ends of the Earth". And I adore the comedy "My Family" with Robert Lindsay (Captain Pellew in HH).
