:bye: Hello here.
I have this picture yet. But thank you, you never know.
Thanks Silvia. I'd read the interview before, but I like the shot of Ioan and Michael Chiklis.
I don´t know if you guys have seen this
EùCharistò! Thanks!
It's new to me! :)
Ioan won the Tlws Sian Phillips award Silvia its an award for the Welshman or woman who has made a significant contribution in either a major feature film or television programme.
Oh how wonderful!!! Thanks midnight!
To the other ladies: No need to thank me! :blush2: My pleasure!!
Thanks for the article and picture, I had not seen this before either! Very nice.
Good!!!! that was new to quite a few girls!!!! I´m glad
Nice to see an interview come out. I hope that means we'll see a stir of publicity with new interviews and pictures while Ioan is publicizing his latest projects.
Ioan Talks With Chairman Christie. :)
Nice find Annee. Did MIS send it?
Great interview, but it saddens me. I think he knows that many of us admired him for his dedication to his Welsh heritage. He seems to have abandoned that totally, now citing it as a burden he had to marry a Welsh woman and have a family.
One wonders whethe he's given up on having a family at all.
I'm glad the photo in the blue shirt was from TV Set and not This Girl's Life as I thought.
I guess that Fireflys, Agent Crush, W, and Moonacre count as 4 films in 2008. I'm sad that there is nothing else on the horizon on IMDB besides that TV show. I wish him more. Even his wife is doing better.
It is good to see an extensive interview with him though! Wonder how he's doing with his neighbors the Beckhams?
Nice find Annee. Did MIS send it?
Yeah. :) But because of you she asked me not not give her credit. :)
Also, an errata corrige while answering you: it's Chamrian, not Chairman.
It's not really a new interview, it's just been written up again with a bigger intro and a few filmography updates for a different website. I read this one a few months ago. I thought it was posted here, but I guess not.
Moonacre finished filming almost a year ago, so he didn't "just" finish it and any interview done in the past few months would have had a few questions about W., since everyone's looking for more info on it.

While we all hope that Ioan continues to move up the ladder of success - considering the WGA strike essentially eliminated four months of work, the potential SAG strike disrupted other productions, most actors would be happy to have the credits he has gotten this past year, - a small, but pivitol role in an Independent film by an up and comer, starring Julia Roberts; voicing the main character in an animated feature; a role, albeit small in a film by an Oscar winning director; a Major role in film that will be screened Worldwide and is part of several prestigious film festivals; and a possible mid-season replacement series in the works with a respected Producer. That hardly sounds like he is hitting the skids.
With the attention Ioan has been able to garner in the past from several small roles - Titanic, Black Hawk Down (which probably helped him get King Arthur) and Wilde. There is a good chance that Fireflies and W will not only show his acting range, but make inroads with the Directors. Developing those personal connections could make the difference in casting for future films.
I agree Gaff. And I think it is time that Ioan get the leading part in a movie.
Jess, thanks for the clarification......I've been absent all weekend and when I read this on my Google Alerts, I had to double check the date, because it all sounded familiar. I wonder how these guys choose which material, and on whom, they're going to rehash?
Havoc, I think you're a little on the pessimistic side  I wouldn't agree that Ioan's being outdone by his 'better' half at the moment! maybe that's cos anything to do with Borat makes me cringe! (But I'm breaking my own rules now......... )
Nah,....I'm not going to sell Ioan short for a very looooooooong time! He's already been working hard since he was about fourteen years old,and has had so many projects to keep him busy all along. The guy seems to stay busy doing something all the time, from the way I can see it.
Thanks for the find Annee!!!
