He's nest building, Nic!

Nicolette- 06-02-2009

Hello. "'nest building". What does it mean? Oops my english is so bad...

StevieT- 06-02-2009

Sorry, my fault; I use too many colloquialisms (and your English is very good!). 'Nest building' is making a home ready for a baby, much like birds will build a nest for their eggs, very industriously.

Gaffer'sGirl- 06-02-2009

Americans use the same term. Although there are many times I can't understand "English" English for me this wasn't one of them. :happy

Seems the pleas of our Welshboys fell on deaf ears........ A bid to halt work on building a new road and bridge in the grounds of Bute Park has been thrown out by Cardiff council. Campaigners called for a moratorium on work to the Grade I listed park, while a public consultation exercise was carried out. But the Liberal Democrat and Plaid Cymru leadership voted out the request in a meeting on Thursday. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/8121015.stm

That's too bad. It always seems once the government officials have their minds set on a specific course of action, it is extremely difficult to change that course.

Frances- 06-28-2009

That's truly too bad. I think that unless it is economically interesting in the short term to do so, it is hard to convince government officials (and corporations) to preserve heritage sites and the environment.

Shipmate- 06-29-2009

Well, they tried, didn't they? It's pretty hard to fight city hall sometimes,I guess.

Seems Ioan's not done yet with Mr.F! Gruffudd will be appearing at the Big Apple Comic-Con October 16-18, 2009 to sign autographs and meet with fans. Don’t miss your chance to meet this world renowned actor! (Trust Welshboy to wait until after I've left New York ) http://www.conventionscene.com/2009/07/06/big-apple-comic-con-adds-fantastic-guest/

Shipmate- 07-08-2009

Yeah, wouldn't you just know it though? Wee baby should be only a few weeks old by then, too. Time flying!

Gaffer'sGirl- 07-08-2009

He must have enjoyed the Comic-Con in San Diego a few years ago. Even if there is no FF3, that can be good publicity for him. Those conventions are huge and a lot of writers and producers from that genre attend. Too bad it's not San Diego ComicCon, I'd be tempted to fly down for my birthday.

CherryCokeGrl- 07-09-2009

Awe, I want to go to NY!!! :) :) I love me some Mr. Fantastic!!!

Nicolette- 07-11-2009

Hello. I hope ther will be a "Fantastic Four 3". :)

marthe- 07-12-2009

That is great for the fans in America. Again I want be able to see him. And like Gaff said, there wille be a lot of great writers and producers. And I hope they will think about a thirs Fantastic Four and even better, the continuation of the series of Horatio Hornblower.

StevieT- 07-13-2009

Hello. I hope ther will be a "Fantastic Four 3". :) Hi Nicolette! I'm sorry to say it doesn't look as if there'll be an FF3, with Fox's plans to 'reboot' the franchise with different actors :angry2: marthe, I think we all harbour a wee bit of hope for more HH, but it's very unlikely as they've sold off all the sets and stuff. Maybe a movie version..... :fingcross:
