Hello.
Yes black makes you appear thinner and she's got high heels.
Pregnant women lay down fat to ensure the baby has a rich supply of milk - there's no choice in the matter and exercising hard to stay your 'normal' shape is doing baby no favours (likewise the spreading of the pelvis that never does quite go back - you can tell a woman who's given birth by the normal route by her gait!)
Of course, there's 'water' too, but that's generally around the ankles.
Hello.
Really? Sport is bad for a pregnant woman?
Thanks for the nice pictures. Alice and Ioan look very happy. And Alice looks very good and very healthy. I think it is going to be a little Ioan.

Of course, there are rare exceptions. Like my friend, who is a horse professional, who rode until her last week of pregnancy. She wasn't telling anyone and I didn't figure out why she stopped riding my fractious mare until she was 6 months along  But then she also showed me the bruises from getting kicked that she didn't show her vet husband. That was a close call, and thankfully it wasn't my horse. She's a tiny woman though.
I also didn't kow she had given birth until I came to ride and she was out gardening with a little basket next to her. Now her daughter is 5'8" tall
Riding a temperamental horse while pregnant doesn't seem the wisest choice, but I suppose a gentler ride is probably relaxing and feels supportive to the tummy and back. I had a friend who went body surfing just before giving birth. That I wouldn't do. My Mom went dancing the night before giving birth to her eighth child just to get things going. There was a Doctor at the party who advised her to try that as the baby was about ten days late.
I do believe walking is great exercise for a pregnant woman, especially is she was already doing a lot of it beforehand.
We can always count on you to find the Hi-Res versions, Nicolette! :applaud:
