Indiana Jones 4
So anybody going to see this this weekend??? I think it looks like fun. I can't believe it's been 19 years since the Last Crusade came out. I've seen all the first 3 movies in the theater. Yes even Raiders which came out in 1981 when I was only 4. I remember vividly my mom covering my eyes at the end when they open the Ark. :wink: She thought it was too scary for me. I laughed hard the first time I actually watched that scene. :lol: That she thought was too scary, but showing me Psycho, Poltergeist and The Haunting when I was 6 was ok. :naughty :roll: :wink: :tongue: Anyway, if anybody's seen it - what did you think? If anybody is going to see it, have fun!!! I'm not sure if I can go see it this weekend as my funds are a bit low. I still want to go see Prince Caspian too! :???:

I got to see Prince Caspian and Iron Man last week and liked them both. I may try to see Indy (as opposed to The Indy :wink: ) this weekend. Thought about going tonight, but I was too tired after work to face the hordes.

I'm hoping to see it next weekend when this week's mountain of shifts is over :roll: I'm looking forward to seeing Ray Winstone again (I have a soft spot for the big lug!)

I'm going to try and see this one when the crowds die down a little bit more. My brother and sister-in-law went opening night and enjoyed it very much.(Apparently,this was an 'anniversary' of sorts for the two of them---because the first "Indy" film was their very first date together,about 25 years ago! Awwwww,ain't that cute?!!)

My cousin booked me to go and see this one as soon as we can arrange for a night out together. It will be sort of a memory night, because my cousin developed a crush on Harrison Ford when she saw the first Indiana Jones movie.

I was 4 years old when Raiders was in theaters. Yet I remember going to see it. And yes my mom had a crush on Harrison Ford which is why we went almost every weekend that summer to see it. I didn't have the money to see it this past weekend, but saw that it did very well indeed. I knew it would - everybody loves Indiana Jones. He's a great character. And I think seeing Marion back and having Shia LeBeouf is fun and of course Cate Blanchette is amazing. I can't wait to see it! Stevie - I'm not familiar with Ray Winstone. What's he been in??? The next big one for me is going to be The Dark Knight. I'm.dying.to.see.this.movie!!!!!! So who saw Indy? What did you think??

Oh Gnat! You need to see KA. Ioan was such a wonderful Lancelot. I did go see Indiana Jones4 on Saturday night. I won't go into what I thought because I don't want to give any spoilers, but would like to hear what others think once they've seen it. I had a discussion with someone at work today about it. I will say it is not my favorite Indy movie.

Frances - do you mean the new Beowulf that came out last year with Angelina Jolie??? Gaff - really??? I've actually heard some good stuff about it. Can you, not specifically, say why it wasnt' your favorite???

Isn't he animated in that one? We've been seeing Ray over here on TV and in film since he did 'Scum' as a mere teenager in the 'seventies. I think he was my fave character after Lance :rider Gnat! What are you playing at??????? Call yourself a Ioanista? Rent KA NOW!!!!!!!! (only kidding :wink: but you should see it, for swoon value alone!)
