In Need of Lots of Shoulders to Lean on....
Hello everyone-it's me Maricruz...I'm sorry I haven't been online for QUITE a while and I feel like I've let you all down in a way...I've actually haven't forgotten about you all-especially the MUNCHKIN (Alan)...he's adorable SYLVIA AND CRIS...I've actually missed out on a lot haven't I?? I mean there's even a baby IOAN or ALICE on the way-wow!! Simply amazing...I've actually been away due to my moms illness...umm I knw evrybody here has their own ordeal but uhh-I'm actually dong this on my own...Fact is my mom has Lymphoma (a form of cancer in the lymphnode glands)...it had invaded her whole neck and upper chest area and of course her abdomen (involving the spleen). She started her firs session back in April 25th-and she shuld be on her last 6th session somtime nxt wk...it has certainly been a long journey and she will be able to come out of it...
for a moment there I thought I had lost her-because she woulnt talk to me...she had stopped eaten healthy and frm a 225 lb woman she now weighs in at 156 #s...she actually gained those last 4 lbs...She's doing well I'm so happy and proud of her but at the same time I'm still worried...due to fist-sized lump that grew on her right shoulder, it pinched a nerve to her arm-causing her to lose mobility...and now she did her best in drawing me an eeyore with flowers and made me cry-because she actually grabbed a pen and said " I CAN"...it isn't over yet-but it is the beggining to the end...I've lost hrs/days of wrk and quality time with friends (you all) but well worth it!!!
I'm sorry once again for not being able to be here as much as I used too but-I'm still THINKING OF YOU!!!! and IOAN OF COURSE!!!

Maricruz, don't worry about letting us down, because you haven't. We are all aware that life can get in the way and that anyone of us can have periods when we cannot visit here as often as we would like to.
I'm really sorry to hear about your mother's illness; it must have been hard for you to see her suffer. However, it is good to hear she is doing well at the moment and hope she'll keep doing well.

Mari, you and your Mum are in all our thoughts. You certainly have not 'let us down'! I hope that catching up a little with the Zone will distract you sometimes from your ordeal.
Yes, we now have two and a half Ioanzone babes - Alan, my grandson Tom and almost a baby Gruffudd.

Maricruz you have not let us down. I understand that you had to look after your mother. You must have had a very sad and difficult time. I hope your mother will keep doing well.
You are both in my thoughts and prayers. Take good care of yourself and I wish you both a lot of courage. Remember that we are your friends and that there is always a listening ear on Ioazone. Life is sometimes so hard but together we must try yo make the best of it.

I am so sorry about what you have all gone through, but you are so lucky to have on another. You and your mom will be in my prayers and thoughts.
This group of ladies has supported me through a few hard things and though I am not online with them as much as I would like to be, the fact that I know they are HERE with their support and good energy and prayers helps a LOT!
