Girls, Rex is doing very well. Here is a nice picture of him :

He is so cute    >
Marthe ~ Rex looks like a lovely dog  I'm so glad you are able to give him a good home
He sure looks like he has made himself right at home.
I concur Gaff. He looks very well taken care of and very princelike!
Ah, yes. Another dog who has taken over the furniture!!! LOL! Sadly, my dog is getting so old, she rarely gets up on our furniture anymore!
Snogg :Horatio wink:
Thanks girls, yes he is like a prince.
And now that we are back to work, he is a bit sad. So he sleeps a lot.
But at noon, I go home for an hour ( it is not so far from my work) and then he eats and we make a little walk, and he is happy again. And then he waits until Andre is home, at about 5pm. Andre is the first at home.
So it is not a whole day that he is alone.
Yes Snogg, older dogs have problems to get up on the furniture.
I have a picture of my first dog Roef who died this year. Here it is :

And here some new pictures from Rex :

Rex at breakfast in the garden last weekend of August :

They are both such nice looking dogs. Rex seems to have been a real Godsend to help heal your hearts over the loss of Roef.
Yes Gaff, Rex is indeed a real Godsend. It is a reward for having loved Roef.
You only choose nice dogs to adopt, Marthe. It looks like Rex is settling in very well with you and your family and I'm sure he is helping you recover from the sorrow of losing Roef.
Thanks Frances for your kind words. Rex is the sunshine in house and that helps a lot
