Don't make that kind of decision until you're thinking clearly, Silvia! You can deactivate it for a while until you feel ready to tackle it again. It would be a shame to lose your hard work. But I do understand the effort it takes to run a forum (and how hard it is to concentrate when you are depressed.) You are in my thoughts, Hon, and let me know if there's anything I can do.

Well as many of you know I´m not closing my forum (thanks to all the pep talks hehehe!!!) Now for the bad news: Hugh´s house was robbed a few days ago. e and Jo were sleeping and the robbers only took his laptop. Mr and Mrs Laurie are now very upset thinking how easy it was for those good-for- nothings to enter their home. We are with you Hugh and family!!! Hang in there!

Sorry to hear this! For the Laurie's sake I hope they weren't as attached to their laptop as I am to my PC - it is like another member of the family with much personal and treasured stuff on it. Yes, all that is backed up elsewhere, but I couldn't stand the thought of some thieving stranger going thru it, never mind violating my personal space too! :no no Big hug to Hugh and his family for this distressing experience :hug and I hope they catch the b :censored ds! :rant: I would send Lance after them :knight 2 and run them over in my :The General:

I'm sorry to hear that Hugh's house was broken into. I hope that nothing important and/or very personal was filed in the stolen laptop, though I think it is the feeling of your personal space being violated is the worst thing that happens when thieves your home is burglarized.

I'm glad to hear you decided to keep your forum open, Silvia. The poor Laurie's! I've been the victim of a house breaking before and it does leave you felling very vulnerable. For me, I was grateful not to be there at the time. It must have been very frightening to realize it happened while you were home.

Sylvia, I am also glad that you will keep your forum open. As for Hugh, I found this a strange robbery that they only took his laptop. They want to see something personal from Hugh. It is not for the money. I understand that Hugh and his wife are very upset. It is more like a personal attack and that is very frightening. Gaff I can understand that you felt very vulnerable. I hope they did not steel important things.

Oooooo,how creepy that must make them feel. Personal information maybe and everything. That's got to be very tough on the nerves. Hope it all works out okay for them.

Well a little update on this matter: It wasn´t only his laptop that was taken, police now confirms that several personal objects were stolen, such as cell phones . Hugh as reported that he has now changed his mail adress and all the passwords that apparently were violated. He also explains that his friends and family have done the same for security reasons. To make it all worse his daughter Rebecca was awake when all happened but luckily she remained silent during the robbery and then run all scared to his parents bedroom to awake them and let them know what happened. Apparently it only took a few minutes for this guys to take what they wanted. To me it was really heartbroken to see Hugh´s face when he explined what happened, specially when he talked about his beloved Becca. If something like that ever happens to my boy, I would died of fear. Once again, Hang in there Laurie´s!!!!!

Some people at the Discovery channel message boards say that Hugh Laurie and Mike Rowe look a lot alike. I disagree. I like Mike Rowe a lot and think he's hot. Hugh Laurie however, is not.

Well..... I don´t see any resemblance, but....... maybe someone else does What do you think guys????? I saw some of you liked Hugh´s eyes well check this out!!!! LOVE HIM!!!!!!!
