Thanks for responding to that question, Red. Not likely we'll ever see it here unless it's a late night BBC-America airing. Your description along with the few pictures I saw on IO help in visualizing the story. So, I guess he can play rougher characters. Thanks, GG

I didn't expand too much on the story, in case there was any chance of you being able to see it yourself. Is BBC - America the only outlet available to you? Are there any Sky channels which may pick it up?

I have a Dish, but don't get premium channels. I have a Basic Plus coverage that includes BBC-America but nothing Premium. In fact, I haven't even heard of Sky Channels other than on this website. We live in a rural area literally 1/4 mile from the Northern edge of the U.S. Just like movies, we are sometimes limited in what we are offered.
Of course, it could be I just don't know about them. :???:

If anyone got hooked with Ioan watching Solomon & Gaenor..... I can totally understand why!!!!!
Just to say I've moved the S&G discussion over to the designated thread, as it was getting interesting.

Did I reply in here already? lol I can't remember but I'll reply again. I got hooked after seeing him in King Arthur, I'm not hooked anymore.
I first saw Ioan in Titanic, but totally forgot about him.
Then he appeared on my radar when I caught advertisements of Horatio Hornblower on A&E. I kept looking at the bloke and thinking where had I seen him before. I realized that after several glimpses at the ads for HH, I remembered he was the one of the crew in Titanic.
With my affection for tall ships and Napoleanic themed stories, HH was right up my alley. I have throughly enjoyed every episode of the series. He was born to play Horatio Hornblower.
After watching the first episode, The Duel, I was hooked! I ran to my computer and basically cut my teeth on online fandoms with Ioan through the A&E HH message board. I need to find everything there was to know about him. I found kindred souls on the A&E board and even assisted with organizing the first Hornblower Conference which was held in Baltimore in 1999. That basically launched my fandom for Ioan and I've been following his career among my many other passions, ever since.
Saucy
