Tht is great HH. Congrats. But where is the clip you posted ?

Horatio Hornblower- 06-08-2008

http://www.supload.com/listen?s=QDAMGNEW57XP Here is a link to the clip. It's 3 verses instead of 4. I cut the last one off because i thought it was no good!

Nicolette- 06-08-2008

Waoo you've got a beautiful voice. You CAN be proud. Bravo! :applaud:

Frances- 06-08-2008

You have a beautiful singing voice, HH. I wish I could sing as well as you do.

Nicolette- 06-08-2008

Have a nice week everyone! I go to sleep. Byee. :)

Gaffer'sGirl- 06-08-2008

HH - that is very beautiful. I love the way you stylize the rhythm and make it all your own. I just can't imagine that verse four was in any way badly done as the first three sounded just great.

In our church they have this system that we can broadcast the devine service on the internet. I found out they also did that Saturdaynight. So my performance has been recorded. Didn't go as great as i thought. When i listened to it for the first time i thought "What? Is that me??" :hide It sounds so weird and not at all like me. That i can't believe people actually thought it sounded good. What i can hear so clearly are the nerves in my voice. There is a huge difference between the previous clip i posted and this one. You would almost think it's sung by two different people. The first one is sung at home without an audience and without nerves. My mom told me it sounded prettier in the church, because you are in such a big space and have a bit of an echo. On the recording you don't hear that and you hardly hear the piano. Somebody else doesn't listen to you the way your listen to yourself. Too much self criticism. Aaaaaaanyway....this is what i sung Saturdaynight: http://www.supload.com/music/Miranda-Amazing-Grace-Live-download-4BYKQHB7338C.html

Ok, HH. I played the download from Church and it came out rather different indeed. Is it a mistake on my computer's part or a  on yours?

Gaffer'sGirl- 06-14-2008

I had a very touching and fantastic moment walking Gaffer to my parents' house on Friday. Walking past a small patch of woods, I suddenly noticed a very tiny, fawn standing about fifteen feet from me, staromg at me with those soft, brown eyes. No Momma was around and the little thing just looked at me with such curiousity and for a few moments - no fear. I bent down to pick up Gaffer so he wouldn't start barking and scared it. It headed back into the trees, circled around, and then peeked out at me again. Oh how I wish I had brought my camera as it's very doubtful I will ever have that opportunity again. The Does are usually very careful and keep their babies away from us people and dogs.

How wonderful Gaff, I really am jealous to hear about your beautiful home and nature. Here in Belgium you can only see a doe in the south of Belgium, in the Ardennen, that is an area where there are still a lot of woods and a lot of nature. There is no industry all over there. It is about 300 km from where I live. And that is almost the end of Belgium. I live in the west, at about 65 km from the Noordzee (the sea between Belgium and England). So you see Belgium is an small country and when they continue to make building and roads and industry, there will be nothing left from Belgium. So I will have to move. Have a nice sunday everybody.

Nicolette- 06-15-2008

Hello everyone. :) A quick hello. Have a nice evening and a good week to come.

GinaP- 06-15-2008

HH, Lovely voice. Thanks for sharing. GG, nice deer sighting. Glad you were walking and not driving! GinaP

Gaffer'sGirl- 06-16-2008

Me, too. We have to watch out for them all the time. Very dangerous for the deer. More dangerous for people are the elks this area is known for. I haven't encountered them yet, but six were near my sister's house last summer and they are far larger than my car. I did see them at a local game farm and they are quite scary to have surround your car. Wouldn't want them mad at me.

StevieT- 06-16-2008

How lovely, GG! The wildlife here have two legs and answer back!

Horatio Hornblower- 06-16-2008

Is it a mistake on my computer's part or a  on yours? No, it wasn't a mistake. I just sang it a little lower because i thought it was easier. Maybe i shouldn't have done that. Real cool you saw a deer! We have them in Holland too in an area called "Veluwe", about 1,5 hour away from my home. Tonight i'm going on vacation to Portugal. It's kind of fun to think that around midnight i'll be 2400 kilometres away.
