i know i can't bare that scene when he gets bashed by Geanor's brother. his brother is a brute! how can one be so full of hate!!! definately my favorite scene is when she trys the red dress on. " what?!" "You look lovely." awwwwwwwwwwwww (the music.............................) also one of the most touching scenes is when he goes walking in the snow with nothin but a coat, and a badly bruised face to look for her...and then awwwwwww he had 2 die at the end! utterly horrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible i was crying in the tafe library when i youtubed it lol..they were like looking at me wandering why i was tearing like a baby.

Ahhh,Heart, You are discovering the beauty and wonder of Ioan!!! Isn't it fun!!! Yes,S & G makes me get choked up,at least a little bit,every time I see it. So tender and touching out in that snow...looking for his Gaenor.......

I saw S & G when It came out in the movie theaters, rented it on VHS. I'm sure the video clerks wondered why it was listed so many times on my rental list. And then, when I finally find it in DVD, I bought it. Love pulling it out every time I need a good cry.

It is one of my perpetual complaints that a Region 2 DVD of S&G is no longer available (was it ever? :wall:) My old VHS copy is pretty friable and has now to be treated with kid gloves....time's coming I'll have to invest in another.... Ahhh, Solomon.......so earnest, so gentle and devoted, so torn, so......bloody hot! :twisted:
