Hmmmmmm, noticed something
When I moved here with Nat I lost 10 pounds fairly quickly. Without any trouble or exercise. I didn't think much of it. I thought it was stress and the fact I has just spent a week manically packing.
Nat sticks to an organic diet and the bread she gets faithfully every Sunday around 9:00am is fresh baked organic wheat bread.
Being that I have been in home that followed certain dietary laws, I simple adopted the bread.
Then I wanted French Toast. Her bread doesn't make the best french toast so I went back to buying the brand I am used to.
WHAM - 15 back on.
It wasn't Trans Fats, it was high fructose corn syrup thats in my bread and my cereal. Even "Diet" cereals like Special K.
Everything I ate had high fructose corn syrup in it. My cereal, my bread, my trail mix bars, my low cal snacks.
So ladies and gents on the board. If you have come to an impass and your stuck at a weight, look at the ingredients. If it has high fructose corn syrup in it, that might be your culprit.
I love Cheeri-os but my beloved Cheeri-os have high fructose corn syrup. So I got an organic version and read the ingredients and the nutrion info carefully. The organic version was right in the cereal isle, I didn't have to go to a heathfood store to get it. I am not a hippy type either but if eating organic is going to get me off of 200lbs list faster. I am for it.
The wheat bread that we get is baked on premises at Shop Rite. Its a large shop rite with a cafe and freash bakery. If you have one of those, check out the wheat bread. I hate wheat bread, but this has a light sourdough taste that hides the graininess that I was used to as a kid.
And GO ME! I walked 2.5 miles. I walked down to the village bank and back and Nat tracked the mileage. 2.5 miles. I'm not as out of shape as i thought. If I manage to do that 2 or 3 times a week in the early morning before the heat sets in. I will definately get off the 200lbs shelf.
I have to get this wieght of me. Its not good for my asthma.
