Hmmm, I have noticed (even up here in Neanderthal Geordieland - where men are Men and women laugh a lot :happy) a disturbing trend towards the 'long, narrow and pointy', in young professionals especially. I am dying to tell the daughter's BF what a clown he looks, but it's not worth suffering the Paddington stares that will dominate the next fortnight! :roll:
Then yesterday at work, a young (yes, exceedingly handsome) SHO was wearing a pair that make Ioan's shoes seem mild and tame (and ohhhh so shiny! )
The style is pretty sharp, but the colour screams 'this is an impulse I will regret in the morning'!
Agreed! I like the overall style, but I would have chosen black instead of silver shoes.
Anyway, I remember that one year the presenter of the best-known Italian song festival wore sneakers with his black-tie outfit.

I'm not much at all for them either,but it must be in style a bit these days------I've seen several celebrities donning similar footwear on some shows I've watched lately.....................but,as I said somewhere else in another thread---at least they're not neon lime-green sneakers! :blink: :roll:
