Hello ...
:bye: Ladies, and Gentlemen,
you may have noticed that my presence in here has been fairly infrequent with not much participation. Well, in January, when I knew I had not passed my economics exam for the 10th time, I decided to get tough with myself and limited my time in any of my forums to 1 hour every 3 days (approx). Now, given that I have 5 forums and 3 blogs (one is a neddelwork site) that I subscribe to, this doesnt give much time at all.
But, it was very necessary and well worth it, as the day after my exam I received aformally worded email of warm wishes from one lecturer, which led me to believe that I had passed my exam (given his behaviour the day before the exam, I believed he would not have written the email in that particular way if I had failed). This morning (Mon) I saw the other lecturer who confirmed this and told me that the dept secretary and himself had checked out my paper before it went to the computer to be marked and knew by 4pm on the day of the exam that I had passed.
I am so happy and this has given my self confidence such a huge kick that I feel very confident about my statistics paper beginning July 7. This is the last paper I need for my degree, but given I will have my pc home by then, I might have more time for my internet friends.
Thanks so much for your patience.
Marian
Congrats Marian! That's great news. :dance :dance :dance
Fantastic news, Marian :mex.wave: Your fortitude is admirable....I would have fallen by the wayside long ago!. It's lovely to 'see' you and you know where we are when you need some light relief from all that studying. :hug
Congratulations, Marian! :applaud:
Well done, Marion! :mex.wave: :applaud: :applause:
YAY MARIAN!!!! :mex.wave: :party :festival :excited: :breakdance :cloud9: :applause:  :applaud:
It's completely understandable, by the way, that you should put your education first. Good girl!
Hi! Had been wondering about you. Your news is great!!!! So happy for you,...way to go! Love, Ship :Horatio wink:
:bye: everyone.
Have a nice week!
Hello Marian (a beautiful name).
Nice to meet you. :)
I am Nicolette, from France. I'm 30.
:applause: CONGRATULATIONS! :applause:
WELL DONE!
Thank you Ladies.
Sadly, my stats paper has formulae that is far more complicated that economics.
for economics - only one formula had a 'sub' formula that had to be worked out first; whereas statisistics, just about every part of the formula has a sub- formula that needs working out before you can work out the main formula
Nicolette - welcome to the zone!!
Congratulations, Marian! :)
You are welcome Marian. :)
And thank you!
Oh it seems to be complicated, that's true. I'm sorry! :???: :hug
But it will still be OK, right??
Hi Annee. :)
:applaud: :applaud:   :occasion: :mex.wave: :thumbs up :kiss :dance :party :festival :breakdance :hug :woohoo :cloud9:  :applause: :excited:
WooHoo!!!!! It was also fun to put in all those emoticons~
Snogg :Horatio wink:
Congratulations Marion!
Statistics will surely help you once your child gets back his scaled exams. I just got back my sons and I can't make heads or tails out of it, and I have had two graduate courses in statistics!
So, good luck with everything. My guess is that you will do fine!
GinaP
Thank you Gina.
 Hey Snogg - dont hold back will you :rotf:
:applaud: Way to go, Marian
I know you've put a lot of time and effort into your work. :applause:
I can relate to having to cut back on "internet" play time. I am taking a financial accounting course over the summer that is very, very challenging for me. I have had to put in much study time. I am also staying super busy with my medical transcription job, and my Avon business. Seems I rarely have any extra time.

However, things should slow down after July.
