Check out Heat magazine's take on FF2. Love the line about Reed's superpower being the 'naffest'! http://heatworld.com/Default.aspx?channel=movies

I couldn't see it Stevie. I'll try again later. GG

Didn't work for me either, stevie! :dunno

Hmm, I had to go to Heat World main page and then click on Movies (there's a button on the right hand corner of the page) to reach the article. It should be here http://www.heatworld.com/Article.aspx?articleid=1148&channel=Movies&title=Read+heat's+take+on+Fantastic+Four%3a+Rise+Of+The+Silver+Surfer Hope it works now.

Thanks Stevie for drawing attention to the article and Frances for making the connection. Ok, a question from a yank - what does 'naffest' mean? GG

Ok, a question from a yank - what does 'naffest' mean? 'Unstylish', according to my dictionary.

Gaffer'sGirl- 06-18-2007

Thanks for definition, Frances. I guess they are refering to the cool, but nasty looking effect. I think it looked a lot more like the comics this time. The close-up of stretchy skin and hair kind of bugged me in the first film. I thought it was quite funny when he fainted and lost control of his stretching. GG

Sorry the link didn't work :sad (note to self - Must Try Harder!) Round here, 'naff' means lame, generally uncool, but we also say 'naff off' when swearing is uncalled for!
