Happy Now "Spoilers"
Okay - after reading these posts, I had to go back and re-watch Happy Now. I have a few questions that maybe someone can answer or discuss with me............
1) When Tina (Nicki's mom) comes back to Pennywig, and Nicki says that people are "staring" at her...doesn't Mom KNOW that her daughter looks like Jennifer? because........
2) when she introduces Joe to Nicki (in the arcade) she says that they went to school together, okay, Pennywig looks like a VERY small town and everyone seems to know everyone, how come mom doesn't see the resemblance between her daughter and probably a popular girl in her mom's school in Jennifer?? She DID win some sort of Queen title. Unless..........
3) she doesn't want Hank's attention (Jennifer/Nicki's dad) because of them "fooling around" when she was younger.
These are just things I observed and would like to see what others thought.

I guess she just ignored it, because she doesn't want to discuss things with her daughter. I have the idea that Nicki did not know about Hank being her father and I think Tina feels she has to explain herself to no-one, not even to Hank.
Tina does not know what seeing Nicki caused, because she doesn't know who killed Jennifer. And therefore does not link the strange things happening to her and Nicki to the death of Jennifer.
Just my thought. :cool:
