Havoc- 10-14-2008

I just read in the paper that according to the readers of the British Cosmopolitan, Johnny Depp ist declared to the most sexy man on this earth, followed by Georges Clooney and Jake Gyllenhaal. Number 4 is Daniel Craig, number 5 is Brad Pitt and number 18 is Clive Owen. But where is OUR friend ? Unfortunately Ioan hasn't been working enough lately to catch the right public eye. Back on topic. Jason Momoa. Watch Stargate Atlantis tonight and he's improving with age.

StevieT- 10-14-2008

Whey, hey, Daniel!!!!!! I can live with Ioan not being on the list - he's on our list and that means more of him to go around! :naughty

Gaffer'sGirl- 10-14-2008

Marthe - they just don't know what they are missing. Stevie - The top of my list. Havoc - Never got into the Stargate series. He's not my type, but he does have a fine body.

marthe- 10-15-2008

Yes Stevie, those who made this list of gorgeous men, forgot him. How is that possible ? But my friend from work is also not pleased because they forgot her hottiest, Mathew Matthew McConaughey. And Gaff, he is also the top of my list. Havoc I must agree with Gaff, your Jason is not my type but everybody has his favourite. From the list of the Cosmopolitan, I would take, J. Depp, Wentworth Miller and J. Gyllenhaal. I also missed Matt Damon, Enrique Murciano and Josh Holloway.

StevieT- 10-15-2008

Ah, there are just too many gorgeous men in the world to list! (which is the purpose of this thread, remember? ) And I think Havoc is right, when she says Ioan has not been in the pubic eye enough lately....out of sight, out of mind with the media. Meanwhile, lovely to see the delicious Tom Ward (of Warriors fame) back in the new series of Silent Witness yet another gorgeous Welshman.... Oooh, I just love a man in scubs - must be a :nurse thing! :love2:

Gaffer'sGirl- 10-15-2008

Oh, I remember him from Warriors. He was quite a looker. Have fun watching him. Marthe - Johnny Depp has been on my list for a very long time, both for looks and acting. Now just for looks, Keanu Reeves looks pretty darn good to me. Sorry no pictures.

GinaP- 10-16-2008

Hello all, My vote goes for Paul Newman, a man of talent, class and grace. And just in case you forgot what he looked like years ago, here's a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g39Vh4VSXQQ GinaP

The definition of Manly Beauty, Gina, I agree! For raw attraction, though, to me no-one will ever top my Stevereno......(gotta love a bad boy.....:faint)

Oh yes Stevie, Steve McQueen was certainly one of nices men on earth. I looked for his biography. "Steve with his rugged, tanned, and quizzical good looks. But he died a shocking, early death at the age of fifty on November 7, 1980, after suffering from mesothelioma, a rare and painful form of lung cancer, caused by asbestos. During his stint in the Marine Corps, Steve was sentenced to six weeks in the brig. He had to clean the engine room and the pipes were covered with asbestos. The air was so thick with asbestos particles that the men could hardly breathe. He had been surrounded by asbestos all this life. It was often present in his place of work during his itinerant years when he picked up odd jobs-at construction sites, for example. I did not know this. But I know that also here in Belgium a lot of people has died from mesothelioma. Gaff, I agree with you about Keanu Reeves. My friend at work is a great fan of him. Her little boy is called after him. His name means "cold wind over the mountains' in the language from Hawaï. I hope you love this picture :

StevieT- 10-16-2008

Yes, Steve's life was always tumultuous and his behaviour sometimes unsavoury, but his last few years were very peaceful doing the things he loved on his beloved ranch in the Sierra Nevada. And I love that they carried his ashes out to sea in his own plane to scatter them. Never mind JFK, I still remember the moment I heard that Steve had died!

Gaffer'sGirl- 10-16-2008

I didn't realize that about Steve McQueen. I just assumed it was from smoking. Quite sad. Thanks for the Keanu pic, Marthe.

Red Admiral- 10-19-2008

I was looking for something else when I came across these. Armitage is not only hot and an excellent actor, but Internet savy and kind to his fans! Excellent selection Havoc! I have a soft spot for Mr Armitage (not least because he comes from my neck of the woods). I second your comments, especially about him being kind to his fans. Has anyone else visited his fansite? I loved his take on Gisbourne in 'Robin Hood', but now I'm looking forward to his arrival in the latest series of 'Spooks'.
