Edit: Yes, I am having a tutor this semester, and the lecturer is making himself available, esp when trying to input data into SPSS in order to get the information needed to complete my assignments. This is where I tripped up last year as I didnt know how to work SPSS and the tutors were mildly overworked.
This should help a lot and make it easier to pass exams. I remember that having a tutor helped me a lot in doing things right when I was at college.

I would love to work in a travel agency, but I think that is a thing of the past for a lot of people now. Maybe marketing NZ or my home town.
Failing that - teaching. English (senior & junior high school) and toruism (senior).
But I would love to teach embroidery. You know the old saying - if your job is your hobby, you wont feel like you are working.

I always thought working in a craft store would be a dream job, but it would have to pay more or figure out some way to earn extra teaching things.

I'd love to work in a craft store, too, and be good enough at a craft to be able to teach it to others, and embroidery is a great craft.
I hope you will be able to work in one of your dream fields, Marian.

The Hollywood United Australian Bush Fire Relief that Ioan was going to participate in reminded me of another very hot guy - Nuno Bettencourt from the band Extreme Probably best known for More Than Words, but there are so many other songs they should be known for and Nuno is a fantastic guitarist and great eye candy too. I saw him in concert twice - well worth the money and time.
Sorry I don't have a picture to post, but he looks like a cross of Gael Garcia Bernal and when Jackson Browne was young. Of course, now Nuno is in his early 40's, but still hot.
You can check him out on Youtube.

Oh "More Than Words" love that song, I mean who doesn't? And "Get the Funk Out" (love that song too) is from the same album "P*rnograffiti" if I remember.
Good looking long haired guys from the More Than Words video.
Gaffer'sGirl- 03-01-2009
Yeah Selma, More Than Words was what initially attracted my attention, but I liked a lot of their music, Hole-Hearted and their CD - III Sides to Every Story was brilliant. They also played at Wembly Stadium at the tribute to Freddy Mercury and covered several Queen songs quite nicely.

:happy I would love to work in a craft store too, but I would find myself spending all my wages on 'stuff I "need"' :wall:

Thank you Frances. Spending the weekend in Christchurch has helped greatly with the 'happiness' level and heped me to focus on what I need to do for me and what I need to do for Dad and that both things are not the same. Fortunately I have a great team to help me, and today received more great advise on where to go and who to asks for more help.

I think I see your point. The list of my dream jobs include working in a bookshop or a video store, but I know that the temptation of spending more than a fair share of money on stuff I "need" would be very high, if I found myself surrounded by things that I love.
Gaffer'sGirl- 03-04-2009
I find that a problem at work all the time. I see new things go out the door or items that are disounted and before I know it, I'm buying it on my way out of work. In some cases, it's great, in others I think - did I really need that?

Who's this hunk? Ah, I know... Richard Armitage...
Yavannie- 05-02-2009
OMG, Stevie! :thud :faint
He's gorgeous. He's also the only reason why I went through several episodes of the crappy new version of Robin Hood. Yummy to the nth power, he is! (Gots to love North & South, too. He's so smolderingly brooding in it.) Ok, I'll wipe the drool off my laptop now...
StevieT- 05-02-2009
I aims to please! Didnt realise you were also a fan, Yavannie :hug should have said "this one's for Havoc and Yavannie"....... (and I quite like Robin Hoody.......)
waresl- 05-02-2009
Richard Armitage is yummy and I liked him in the Vicor of Dibley as well, comdey side of him. As for Robin Hood I like it not only for him but for Jonas as well. Not too sure what it's going to be like when the two leads leave this series.
Thanks for the picture by the way Stevie.
