Time, I felt, for gratuitous eye candy to have a thread of its own! Let me start us off with the cover of this months Empire mag. Is Daniel Hot or what???? :thud There's definitely a touch of the Steve McQueens about him, but then I'm biased.......

Even before I read your post I thought that he looked like Steve McQueen in that picture. I'm not a huge Daniel Craig fan, but he does look quite nice in that pic.

I agree that he looks a bit like Steve McQueen at first glance, but then you quickly see the difference... Still, gorgeous picture. :cool:

He is a handsome man, but not my type. I miss something in his eyes.

He has the most gorgeous crystal blue eyes, a la Mr. McQ (yes, I've met him, a long time ago, when he was filming Our Friends in the North round our way :cool: ) All contenders welcome for Hottie of the Month! :devil :devil :devil

Sorry,but Mr. Craig just doesn't do any thing for me at all. Personally,I can't see how he ever got to be James Bond! Nope.

Well Matie, I have an aunt who feels the same as you. I'm still trying to convince her to watch Casino Royale. I think, Stevie, Mr. Craig is probably the finest blond haired, blue eyed man on the planet!!!! Aaron Eckhart still is my favorite blondie though. But Daniel Craig has single handedly made me a Bond fan. And that's a totally unfair picture you posted Missy! You should have warned me!!! :love2: :thud

I've never been a huge Bond fan, but I do prefer either Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan. Daniel Craig was really a different type of Bond as was Casino Royale. In some ways, I think it should have been its own series without the Bond name much as I think Mission Impossible should not have been named that, but they should have come up with a new title and character names. They both stray too far from the flavor of the original. Doesn't make them bad, just different. Altering the genre a little too much.

I am rather pleased with Mr. Craig as Bond. And since I collect all sorts of celebrity images, I'll just dump a bunch in here for your enjoyment. Nice post, Maiden. Now Clive, I could have seen as Bond in a split second, no problem. He looks equally as good in a suit as he does mucked up. First thing I remembered seeing him in was Greenfingers - rough, dirty, sexy :cold shower 1 off to the Alley. What more could a woman ask for. And he came complete with a unee-form. :naughty :happy

Amazing what a change in lighting will do. I really like that second shot with the really white whites a whole lot better. Both are very cute. I saw it many years ago in the theater and have remembered it fondly.

Ok Maiden - when I looked at your post I believe my heart literally stopped for about 2 minutes. :love: :love: :love: There were a couple guys in there that I didn't recognize but I have to say that I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Firth, Mr. Depp, Mr. Eckhart, the late Mr. Ledger, Mr. Dempsey, Mr. Wylie, Mr. Ford and the kid who played Prince Caspian (who's name is escaping me........Ben something right???) Like you Gnat, I wasn't much into Bond until Daniel came on board, so it's likely the film I enjoyed, rather than the fact it was Bond. :cool: maiden, you are very naughty, but I totally forgive you on the strength of the Armitage pic alone!
