Thanks, frances! Seems he only has one costume - must be a small part! now i'm hungry for his next 'real' project. C'mon, Welshboy, fess up! What's next?

Seems he only has one costume - must be a small part! now i'm hungry for his next 'real' project. I noticed it either that he only has one costume and thought he must have a small part in this movie. So I join you, Stevie, in hoping for a 'real' project for Ioan in the near future.

Gaffer'sGirl- 06-03-2007

Thanks for the pics, Frances. I'm with you two, probably a small part. We haven't seen FF4-2 yet and I'm anxious to find out what his next big part will be. With all the promotion for FF-4 and his upcoming wedding; I figure it may be a little bit before he takes on another starring role unless something he really likes comes along - maybe somebody is pushing a Western out there in Hollywood. Ever hopeful. GG

I know he'd love a western, but I'm having difficulty seeing it. Strangely enough, I can see him in a US Cavalry uniform..............there goes that dang imagination again. Down girl! It's the britches, I can't help it.........honest! Or maybe a mountie? (more britches) yes!!!!! A film version of Due South; he's perfect for Benton Fraser.... :faint  wrong thread.

I know he'd love a western, but I'm having difficulty seeing it. I find it difficult, too, but it would be interesting somehow to see how he would fare in one right because Ioan wouldn't be the first actor I would think of casting for a western. :hmm:

Or maybe a mountie? (more britches) yes!!!!! A film version of Due South; he's perfect for Benton Fraser.... :faint  wrong thread. I like that image. Cowboy Ioan does seem strange, but Johnny Depp played an accountant set in a Western, Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man and it was quite a unique movie with much deeper meaning than the typical Western. Using Ioan and Matthew Rhys could make a very differnt Western. Maybe something involving Range Wars or during the Civil War. There are all sorts of possibilities. GG

Thanks, frances! Seems he only has one costume - must be a small part! now i'm hungry for his next 'real' project. It looks as though both sets of pics are of the shooting of the same scene.

It looks as though both sets of pics are of the shooting of the same scene. Here's hoping, ricki!

I know he'd love a western, but I'm having difficulty seeing it. I dunno ... I can see it! http://www.literary-liaisons.com/article007.html He could do a biopic on Moreton Frewen ( http://wyoshpo.state.wy.us/frewen.htm) and film on location in Wyoming! Or William Anson, a British gentleman who came to Texas and bred quarter horses at the turn of the 20th century. :rider

Until seeing these pix I didn't realize Ryan Reynolds was going to be in this movie as well. I'm very excited! Not that I wasn't before, but I'm in love with Ryan Reynolds. I have been since he was on Two Guys and A Girl. So two very hot men in the same movie?? I'm soooooooooo there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thud :cold shower 1

I know he'd love a western, but I'm having difficulty seeing it. I dunno ... I can see it! http://www.literary-liaisons.com/article007.html Ah, yes, good point, Hiljohn! I was having difficulty picturing him as an American cowboy. Not sure why.......

HilJohn- 06-07-2007

I want that house!

StevieT- 06-07-2007

Oh and Stevie I had another look at the links for the set pics, and both sets were taken on the same day on a college campus by onlookers. Maybe that's just the only outdoors/public shooting Ioan's been involved in. Thanks for the poster and the info, ricki! I'm more curious now. the poster reminds me of the front of John Grisham's book The Painted House

LorettaH- 06-07-2007

The poster reminds me of Days of Heaven, that odd Richard Gere movie. I am surprised to see Ioan's name there, because I thought this was a very small part. Hopefully it is bigger than I thought it would be. Loretta
