Don't despair there in the UK! I read Sylviane's note and rushed to the Blokker shop, to buy the DVD. (we are region 2 here as well. So possibly you could order a copy on internet.) Thanks for the info and the videoclip. Just makes me want to see it more and more! :wink:

Oooooooo,thanks so much,fishforit!!! Looks like some pretty heavy stuff going on there,too. Yes,I certainly hope everything can be kept on schedule the way it looks right now. I'd sure like to see it.

Lest we not forget, all the articles about the new babe also mention that Fireflies will be out in June. Whether this is the movie release in the U.S. (finally) or the DVD release, it doesn't say, but either one will be welcome. It will be nice to see or get a new performance that I can add to my collection. It has me feeling - :excited:

Well, Amazon has a Region 2 copy of the DVD for sale NOW, but they want 30 quid for it, so I think Ill wait a bit (seeing as it is a bit that he's in it! :wink: )

I can understand that, too. Although, the little bit he is in looks very intriguing. I'm hoping for a theatrical release and the bridge should be open by then, so I could go to Seattle if I had to to see it.

Good Grief :shock Still, I see that it's a Dutch DVD, but the cost is ridiculous. I've just visited the IMDB site, and I see that it is listed for a UK release on 29th May, and that the USA release has now changed to 26th June. Perhaps it will be worth waiting to see if it gets a cinema release here (although I suspect it will be limited) - so that we can see just how integral his part is in the story. The video clip looked very interesting :wink:

I found it in a video store here in Italy at 17 Euros, I haven't bought it yet, but that's a better price.

That is a better price, Frances! Maybe because the film's been out since September in Italy? If we wait afew months the price will likely drop! I think Moonacre is the one I will pay full price for at present :wink:

15 to 20 Euros seem to be the standard price for DVDs in Italy, unless it is a special or rare edition.

Yup, that's the general price here in the UK too - now I'm wondering what was so special about that Fireflies DVD......... :blink:
