Wow! Too bad she didn“t mentioned Ioan :(
I think her name is Hayden Panetierre
Could be quite possible he didn't have any scenes with her. From the pictures it appears his scenes are with Ryan Reynolds only. But, it is too bad she forgot to mention him. Nice that the movie was mentioned which may mean release is imminent in the U.S. (I hope.)
Hi, I don't know why,but I have a sneaky hunch that since Julia Roberts is in it-----it'll be released in this country for a safe bet. She's a pretty big draw, all by herself. AND, it sounds as if she's playing the part of an older woman with grown kids, people might be curious to see how that plays. I know I am.

Hope you're right, Shipmate. I've always held, too, that this movie would be released as a safe bet just because Julia Roberts - a pretty big draw - is in it.
HEY! Am I one of few who saw Julia Roberts interviewed on David Letterman on Thursday(June 5th) night?? She gave a lengthy interview to Dave and they even had a clip from "Fireflies in the Garden". The film is scheduled for release in September in the US!!! (Didn't say WHEN in September, but at least we have more of an idea now!!)
September may mean a more wide spread release since it won't be competing directly with the big ticket summer blockbusters. I sure hope so. Thanks for the update, Ship. I'm sorry I missed the interview as I've always liked Julia Roberts. She seems pretty down to earth and fun.
It was a good interview, intelligent and funny, without getting too goofy.
Fireflies Trailer, for those who understand German. :)

Cool. Thank you. I'll take a look at them later.
Much appreciation, Frances
I just thought it was kind of cool that Ioan's name is listed right above Julia Roberts' on that German blurb. Stood right out...........
Finally got a chance to take a look at the clips. It looks very intense and certainly stimulated my interest. I think Willem Dafoe is an incredible actor who does scary very well. I'm excited to see Ioan in it, but look forward to seeing it in general. I'm very tired of comparing which movie has better stunts and it's only the beginning of the summer. A family drama will be a good change by the time it gets here.
Agreed. We need (I need) something a little more gritty and thought-provoking to chew on for a change. This may lend itself well to that. . . . . . .
I was snooping around and found the Robert Frost poem from which the title of this movie is taken. We'll just have to wait and see if it's got anything to do with Frost's work, won't we? Here it is: FIREFLIES IN THE GARDEN................ Here come real stars to fill the upper skies, ............And here on earth come emulating flies, .................That though they never equal stars in size, .................(And they were never really stars at heart) ...................Achieve at times a very star-like start. ..................Only,of course, they can't sustain the part.
