Favorite pic and pose
Hmm...
That's a tough one as they're all so good  I guess I'd have to say that my favorite picture would have to be the one of Lancelot after the knights are all in the courtyard partying happily unaware that they have one more mission to complete before they can claim their freedom.
Arthur, thinking that he's all alone in the stables with the horses and the tack, unaware that Lancelot had followed him and is standing in the shadows of the stables dressed in his black leather, quietly listening to his leader's soft, heartfelt speech before they have one of their own.
The tension and feelings that Lancelot's giving off during their discussion is so strong that it could be felt and *almost* be cut with a knife, its that palpable.
Yours,
Gypsiebelle

^^^ Oh, I love that bit. I totally agree with you about the tension and the feelings that Lancelot appears to be giving off
My favourite pic has to be of his face in 102 Dalmations when Cruella reveals the new dog beds (I think thats what they are. The little circus tent things ). The 'What the?' look  I'll try and post a pic of it when I get my DVD software up and running

Can't choose between 2:
As Horatio, top of the mast of the Indy, with Archie next to him at the end of Frogs and Lobsters/Wrong war. The entire sceen is SO beautiful. He looks so deliciously triumphant!
But also:
The courtscene in HH-Retribution, right after Archie's 'confession' and Archie sees Horatio standing there. And Horatio realising the price Archie just paid. What makes the scene very powerful to me is that, between Ioan and Jamie, they convey feelings with their faces that 40 pages worth of text could never get across. So beautiful, so strong, so sad... ( Which reminds why I HATE retribution. Archie...sigh...) :wall:
(But I wonder about that scene, because the strenght lies in the interaction between Ioan and Jamie. I don't know if the scene would still choke me up if it were another actor playing Archie or if it were another character, because in all honesty. Archie, not Horatio himself, is my favorite character on Horatio Hornblower.)

Is this how you play this?
Smoldering smooth and cool.
Otherwise, he's just handsome. No?

Well my favorite would be in "The Even Chance" The famous "fish for it" scene. The look on his face when he drops the compass into the water is so confident and a bit mocking.
Then when he gets smacked in the mouth and slowly lifts up his head to stare at the French Capt. The look in his eyes is just evil! Someone did a "Vampire Horatio" slideshow on You Tube. It was so funny. It had that scene in it.
Has anyone seen that You Tube? I wonder if that is someone who is on IO

Painajainen did some marvellous video's. Is that the vampire one?
"And forgo the pleasure of crowing at my discomfort? .... I think not."
Ahhh yes! a great quote! Your screen name gives it away that you must have liked that scene too! LOL
In Man and Boy our actor gets smacked in the face too. That's also a favorite scene.
Hm, should discuss this with my psych.
Share the advice with me ok?

Hmmmm. You guys are bringing a tear of fond remembrance to my eye. Ah, the games Snowy and I used to play in days of yore. How gaily she would hurt him, just so I could make him better! Oh, happy, happy days!
(Skips a little sadly into the sunset)

Yes that's totally it! LOL
It has my favorite pose in it when he has that evil look after he gets hit in the mouth! (kinda strange I know...)
I LOVE IT! :devil

Oh, Stevie, don't worry, I don't mind hurting him, so you can make him all better again.:nurse Always did see Snowy as my 'enemy' on this field. :rotf: Guess that's why I like her so much, she had some pretty good ideas.... :naughty

Oh yes! After we had just seen him in the previous scenes break down and experience more raw emotion than I think he had in the other 3 episodes. He looked so peacful on top of the Indy. My heart sighed in relief. :love2:

The wordless exchange is beautiful. I have never been really slashy but if there ever was a moment than that was it.
