Blue Eyes- 04-10-2008
Mine too Blue. Too bad I never grew up to be a tall, leggy, skinny, big boobed, blue eyed, blonde goddess of a woman! :happy

Ok I remembered that I watched a show called Sunset Beat with George Clooney and Michael DeLuise and thinking about Michael remembered that him and his brother Peter were in another show I loved to watch and perhaps so were some of you starring Johnny Depp. It was 21 Jump Street. Oh my god Richard Grieco was in it too.
Anyone a fan of 21 Jump Street - Johnny Depp?
Gaffer'sGirl- 05-09-2008
Oh yes! That is where I first noticed Johnny Depp. At the time, I videotaped some of the episodes at my parents because I didn't have any TV reception. I still have some. Since that time, I was a fan of his work and have seen most of his movies, including the early ones like Cry Baby, Platoon and the terrible Private Resort.

I am a fan of 21 Jump Street. That's where I discovered Johnny Depp, who is an actor I like very much.

Oh ditto all the way ladies! 21 Jump Street will never escape Johnny Depp! He was a hearthrob relunctantly. He hated that. He couldn't wait to get out of that show because of it. :happy
Gaffer'sGirl- 05-09-2008
He may come to appreciate it as he gets older. It certainly has given him the opportunity to try some unusual roles.

Absofreakinlutely Gaff! God bless 21 Jump Street for introducing the world to Johnny Depp! :applaud:

Everyone has to start somewhere and though it wasn't the grea-*test*-('") series ever, it did give viewers some nice visuals every week. :naughty

I was a huge fan of Dana Delaney as Colleen McMurphy in China Beech. Maybe she and the show was the reason I went to nursing school.
Gaffer'sGirl- 05-24-2008
That was a good series. Marg Helgenberger was impressive in that series, too.

I found out that we're gonna have the chance to watch again on one of TV programs on our cable provider TV series Band of Brothers since summer scheme is starting with lots of re-runs and EURO 2008 and Olympic games on television. Since I am a big fan (no surprise ey?) of series and Damian Lewis, surely some of you love BB and I wanted to ask you which character you liked the most?
I loved watching George Luz played by Rick Gomez he was so funny with his imitation of superior officer and loved his jokes. I loved Donald Malarkey (Scott Grimes) and Ronald Speirs (Matthew Settle), Lewis Nixon (Ron Livingston). Heck I could go on and on. I loved them all.
Go Easy Company! Currahee!!!

That is a great series, Selma. I hope you enjoy watching it again.
WarriorSelma- 07-31-2008
Well as like with many other TV stations I am sure during the summer there are a lot of re-runs, so now with China Beach we have a chance again to watch Sisters. I loved watching the show, I thought that the concept was wonderful. Four sisters where we sometimes see them as a young ladies! I wanted to ask you if you are familiar with the show which sister you liked the best? I love Georgie and Teddy.
Gaffer'sGirl- 08-01-2008
I'd totally forgotten about that program. That was a good show. Thanks for the reminder, Selma. While I liked all of them, those were my favorites, too.
GNAT0629- 08-01-2008
Selma - I actually started watching that show (Sisters) when I was in high school. I came upon by accident. I was babysitting on Saturdays for a little boy in my neighborhood and one night it was on and there's was nothing else to watch. I don't know what captivated me about it, but I was so hooked!!! I loved how all the girls' names were "boy names" and I loved Sela Ward! She is stunning, especially in that show. I liked Teddy because she reminded me of my mom. Kind of the troublesome one, single mom at a young age, turning her life around. I liked that character.
Wow did you just take me back some years! :happy
