Fantastic Four and King Arthur
Hi all,
The only two projects of Ioan's that I saw which clearly made an impact on me or really got my attention were FF and KA.
FF because his character of Reed Richards, at first before he became comfortable in his 'new' but old skin was sort of a math genius. I can see why he stayed in those parameters was because he felt more comfortable and at ease with himself within that box and he didn't have to think about anything.
Sue added a whole new equation as well as a few waves to his lake of comfortable formulas and made him think about other things other than what he was used to and it was akin to someone to putting on ice skates for the very first time and he became very unsure of himself.
KA on his character of Lancelot. Those two characters are as different as night and day.
Lancelot allowed him free rein to show his sultry, untamed wild side. Both are the same Welsh actor, true, but Lancelot was the character that gave him permission to actually set that part of himself free.

I LOVE THOSE TWO MOVIES AND CHARACTERS! I agee, they are quite opposites but they certainly fun to watch,

Yep, that they are. One difference between the two characters that I've noticed, (if you can call it that) is that Lancelot's emotions and feelings come through more vividly through his eyes and expressions than Reed's do.
Not that he (Reed) doesn't show them, its just that he's usually got his head buried in his notes, experiments or on other devices, which is a good cover for when Johnny appears in the little area where Reed and Ben are waiting for launch and he has to bite down on his laughter after Johnny takes Ben's picture once he appears.
Whereas Lancelot doesn't, so his are the first things that you see during every scene, especially his little mischievious grin during the fight or when they head casually into Rome.

Gypsie
I love how he can seem to play any character. From a nerdy scientist to William Wiberforce. His range is very impressive.
