:applaud: Both you. I think exactly the same.
Yuk, the horror movie you saw! Haha I understand then how bizarre you felt when you saw Ioan stretching his arms. :wall:
Exactly, to stretch your body is not a super power in my opinion...
So sad he was not just a great scientist with other powers. Maybe to read in somebody else's minds, like in "X-Men".
StevieT- 06-25-2008
Blimey! I don't think I'd want Ioan reading our minds!!!!!

Blimey! I don't think I'd want Ioan reading our minds!!!!!
Yep, Ioan reading our minds is a pretty scary thought! Actually, I'm not sure I would want anyone to read my mind.
Shipmate- 06-26-2008
Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! No way! :rotf:
Gaffer'sGirl- 06-26-2008
Could be quite embarrassing! Wouldn't want it!
Nicolette- 06-26-2008
Really?
HAHA yes I would be embrassed for sure in front of him. :blush2:
And sure sometimes (maybe A LOT of times :???:  ) I would read that people hate me although they try to make me feel they appreciate me.
That would be bad here haha, but still I think it's cooler than to have "elastic members". :???:

No, I don't think so.
GOOD JOB Annee!
Thanks for it. :hug
So Ioan would like this "Mole Man" to be a next villain in a possible "Fantastic Four 3".
I don't know who is this character  by the way.
Shipmate- 07-14-2008
Well,......we hadn't heard talk like this in a while, huh? Maybe #3 is a possibility after all! Please stand by for further developments.............. Thanks,Annee, keep us posted.

If you look at the date of the article, it was written last summer when there was more hope. I think it is probably still "hope dimmed". Not sure we will be seeing it. But it does appear that Ioan did more research into the characters as he said he was not familiar with FF before he was cast. Acting is lifelong learning!
Shipmate- 07-14-2008
   That's what I get for NOT noticing the date on the article!!!!!! A"moldy-oldie". . . . . . . . . that won't come to fruition,I'm now afraid. I'll look more carefully from now on.
Gaffer'sGirl- 07-14-2008
Easy to do, especially since it was also dated June 14th.

I find two of Chiki's comments interesting here ......
I know that both of them were tremendously successful from a box office standpoint, but we’ve all moved on into other areas and other films.”
and
“As long as a company has your signature in place and they have a right of first refusal, that right may be exercised.”
Does anyone else find this a little chilling and depressing? To have moved on to other projects, but have this obligation hanging over you at the whim of a studio? Smacks of the old system when the Studios really did own the stars.
Especially if most viewpoints consider it wouldn't be a good idea? Or am I just a doom merchant????? :dunno
Shipmate- 09-19-2008
Yes,Stevie, it does sound a bit that way to me too. The part that says......"As long as a company has your signature in place".......and......."That right may be exercised." sound pretty tight-fitting,don't they? Kinda like a pair of Spandex pants somehow!

I guess it's the blessings and curses of signing a multi-picture series deal. There is security in knowing there is future work (some contracts include some pay for actors even if the series is not completed). But there is also that chilling dread of knowing the Studio holds the contract even if you are ready to move on. And I suppose, as long as that potential for a sequel is still there, it would be hard to get the studios to pay up for holding that contract, unless you're a big time actor like Brad Pitt or George Clooney. Even then, it may take a court battle.
I suppose that's why a lot of thought has to go into signing a contract for a multi-pic series.
Personally, if Ioan gets some really great roles, I'd rather see him moving on to other characters. Can't say that I play my FF DVD's over and over like I do some of the others.

Me neither, GG, me neither. Still, if money in the bank enables him to work on projects closer to his heart, then who are we to argue????
