Fantastic Four 3? SPOILER WARNING

I remember the orginal series fondly. The voices of Megatron and Optimus Prime. :faint I have not seen FF2 yet, and I am a bit worried about the silver surfer. I remember also the cartoon series and i cannot help but worry if they can really bring him to life as I want to see him. Hopefully FF3 will hold more acting in it than special effects, so Ioan can be happy with this character, too.

The Silver Surfer looks amazing. FF3 better have more acting because when I saw it again, I was a little upset that Ioan really didn't get a lot of onscreen time. :(

Sylviane, how you doing? I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the Silver Surfer. He's robust, a little sensitive, and able to kick---, if you know what I mean! Will look forward to hearing your take on him................. Actually, you're sooo right, Matie! SS is one sexy dude! Sort of sleek and strong, yet sensitive and caring with morals! Liked the way he connectd with Sue; I read somewhere that in the original it's Alesha(?) Things girlfriend that he's taken with (I don't know the comics at all, but I kind of wish they'd left it like this - her blindness and accentuated other senses being the key - especially as they missd out on an opportunity for some serious personal confrontation between Goody Two Shoes Reed and the Sexy Surfer!)

Hey Hil - I'm going to start a TRANSFORMERS thread over in "Not Ioan's". I've been meaning to anyway. And yes - I'm super stoked!!!! I'm going tonight to see it. Childhood memories abound!!! It looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ooooh, that would have been very nice!! It would have elevated the quality of the story from transparent fluff. In fact, I wish they would have delved into her and Thing's relationship more, other than the obligatory innuendo comment from the Torch. There's all sorts of opportunity for adding some depth to their various stories. Too bad the PTB opted out of depth.

I've always felt that the whole FF thing was something my evil fanfic-writing twin should steer clear of (I just can't get my head around the stretchiness; it's faintly disgusting :sick: ) but maybe we need our own script of 'out takes', judging by the ideas that are popping up here! I'm not talking X-rated, but maybe a 15 would do it (judging by what was in my mind at 15 :wink:

An insider told Moviehole a few days back that the next “Four” movie will again be dependent on who they can “team the Fantastic Four up with” – speaking, of course, in relation to the Silver Surfer’s presence in the latest movie. “That worked, so don’t expect to see a solo effort”. And according to ‘Jeremy’, Michael Bay’s website is abuzz with talk of a “Transformers 2”. That’s pretty much a no-brainer though, right? (Here in Australia, “Transformers” was the second biggest opening day of 2007, behind “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” and the fifth biggest ever non-sequel opening ever). I’m aware the producers are keen to get moving on film number two… it’s just up to Dreamworks to fire the starter pistol. Meantime, Marvel’s Steve Murphy tells readers on his blog that another “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie is likely. “As of two weeks ago Imagi Entertainment (the TMNT movie animation studio) informed Mirage Studios that there was a 50-50 chance of a CGI film sequel. Thanks for the update, Annee! Yes, FF3 is very probably not a movie they can cram in. I've always thought that they would wait and see how FF2 fared in theatres before setting about the making (from scratch) of FF3, so I've always expected that if a FF3 is ever to be made, it will likely be ready for release a couple of years after FF2 (the same time that separated the release of FF and FF2).

The Franklin rumour seems to start again. Alba has revealed that the next thing to happen in the movie is to have a baby, and the great four have to deal with the forceful child. Franklin Richard will seem in the next installation of the superhero project. No matter who appears in great Four 3, it’ll be a faraway moment coming, said Alba. She additionally said that “There a potential strike happening so everyone’s freaking out - they’re cramming movies in,” she contended. “I’m not certain whether great Four 3 is one of those movies you can really cram.” Alba looks very enthusiastic about her forthcoming movie.
