Drawing SampleHere is a drawing I'm working on for my book cover. It will remain a simple black and white line drawing with the title above. What do you think?
I like it, GG! Do the faces reflect what your sisters look like?
Thanks for the comment. I just need a simpler cover than the one I had before, so I went for charicature.
They probably don't look as much as they really do as they could, but people who know us have been able to identify who's who. Must say my sisters are better looking.
Very nice indeed,GG. I can see it on the library shelves and bookstore shelves right now! It has an appealing look about it, makes one wonder 'what's going on with these girls?'
Good. That's what I was hoping for. Thanks.
I like it, too, GG! The drawing will make for a simple and appealing cover for your book.
Lovely artwork. I think it is very affective, simple and that I think will be appealing to the readers.
Thanks Frances and Selma. Much appreciate the vote of confidence. I'm not much of an artist, but I think this will suffice.
Thanks so much. I've had my doubts, so the encouragement really helps and is much appreciated.
We ladies just know these things,GG! :thumbs up
Thanks. Ladies are my audience, :occasion: so here's hoping it's from your words of encouragement to actual sales.
Oh I forgot to comment on this, the other's did it for me for I also agree, I like the simple style.
Certainly the kind of book to attract my eye on the bookstore :)
For me the over-decorated style of many book out there (esp. fantasy) is a bit of a put off...
Thanks Painajainen. Coming from an artist such as yourself, it means a lot. I know that I'm not an accomplished artist, but thought the more simple design would meet my needs for the story and it seems to. Thanks so much for taking a look.
