Derailed ThoughtsThe comment Matie wrote about Emmys in Very Annie Mary made me think of opening a kind of "Hijack This Thread", whose credit goes to GUINESS The Great.
Hope it is OK.
Hey, I have the EMMYS show on right now
Do you remember Card, the film AJ starred in?
Ed Asner got an Emmy nod. The Award was won by TH Church, though.

Do you mean like a Six Degrees of........a type of connections game, annee? For example:-
Ioan was in The Forsyte Saga with
Damien Lewis, who was in Warriors with
Tom Ward, who was in The Lost World with
Matthew Rhys, who was in Very Annie Mary with
Ioan!
Do you mean like a Six Degrees of........a type of connections game, annee?
No
I try to speak my mind better.
D'you know when you when you have something which does not "deserve its own thread" but risks to send another thread Off Topic?
Like this one about Ed Asner. Saying it in Mary thread was "Off Topic" and not nice towards the one who started it; dedicating a whole thread to the news was a bit too much.
Is it a bit more clear?
Ah, I see! Sorry, annee - my antennae are bent, as usual! You mean a place for rogue thoughts which cannot be pinned down to any other thread? Sounds good! Fire away, Yo-Zonners!( but please be sensitive to anything that really ought to be in the Twilight Zone/ Guttermaiden Alley!)
Is this a rogue thought? "What does my dog dream about and why does he wake-up looking guilty some-times?" I think I just revealed how truely strange and crazy my thoughts can be. One more--- "How can I read so much and still be a horrible speller?
That sounds like a pretty random thought.
That's ok emry - I think about that too. I think about it with babies as well. I remember when I worked at a daycare and one day during naptime, one of the babies (she couldn't have been more than 6 months old) started crying in her sleep. I was so upset and then confused because what could a baby that small have to fear that much???
After reading my post this morning, I hope it didn't sound like I was making fun of your comment Emry. I meant it as chuckling along with you at the unusual thoughts that cross our minds.
No prob. I understood what you meant :)
King ArthurThis came to me in an e-mail and reminded me of my dog. Don't know who did it or I would give credit. I thought about posting it on the King Arthur thread, but figured it fit more with a derailed thought.

How cute! I wonder what the occasion was to dress up the dog or whether it was just a joke.
Isn't that cute,or WHAT!!!!!!! How can anybody resist THAT???!!! And I'm not even a pet person (I think they are cute, cuddly and all, but, just not for me.) How anyone could ever mistreat one, I'll never know..............
Frances - I'm not sure why they did it. The picture came with about 20 others with dogs in costumes.
Some have seen this picture of my boy Gaffer dressed as an elf, but for newer people and because I think he looks a lot like the King Arthur dog I'm posting this. For those who've seen this - sorry. He tolerates this. Maybe I should try making him a Horatio outfit though the King Arthur one looks easier.

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Tooooooo much, GG! Totally too cute.....bet he's a good dancer too! :rotf: :rotf:
He's a pretty smart boy, Shipmate. While he can't quite dance, he does stand up, lay down, shake, weave between my legs on command and drags a doo-doo bag out my jacket pocket when you has to go . . .uhm . . . use the facilities.
Guess he's my Mr. Right.
