Content and happy but...

Yet seeing some of posts in Serbians forums sickens many. Ultra Serbian nationalist as well as many people in Serbia are opposed and furious about him being captured. To them this "butcher of Bosnia" is a hero!!! Over all at least 100 000 people in Bosnia were killed and more than that amount wounded. In Srebrenica alone over 7 500 men and boys were executed. Many women were brutally raped. And to call him a hero?

Selma, I'm happy this monster's been captured. I know it's hard to read about Serbia praising this man and his "accomplishments". Unfortunately that's the way of humanity. History will always beg us to ask the questions: hero or murderer? Abolishment of evil ways or bringer of the end of a society? It's terrible that while one group of people think of someone as a hero, another knows the truth. He has done most horrible things to your people and for that he should be brought forth to justice and made to pay his debt to humanity. I hope this happens - for you and your people.

I too I'm very happy thay got him at last, Selma, and even happier that the Serbs themselves turned him over. It sickened me to see the pro-*test*-('")ers outside the court/police station saying what a hero he was. It really gives 'Warriors' a new power to me. I don't think REAL christian-serbians appreciate monsters, whoever they are, ennemies or not.

I read it in the news this morning that Radovan Karadzic was arrested and an order was issued to transfer him to the UN war crimes court in The Hague. It was time they arrested and tried him. Actually, it took long - too long - for him to be captured.

Selma, The news reports I heard in the U.S. this morning support your view of this rather than the Serbian view. I hope the U.N judges him justly for what he has done.

Thanks all! We are getting support from all over the world. The news are that he was all along in Serbia even though they claimed contrary. He grew long white beard and hair and is unrecognizable from what he was like before. It wasn't the Serbian official police who arrested him but Serbian special operative unit lead by minister responsible for relations with the U.N. Tribunal. Radovan Karadzic stated that he wants to defend himself in court.

Well,Selma,you know what they say about a person who wants to defend himself in court,don't you??!! (He has a FOOL for a client!) And, this horrible monster fool deserves every bit of punishment he can get.

Selma, When I heard he was captured, I immediately thought of you. I imagined you would be pleased to hear the news. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Oddly, I just met two people her in the States who said they were from Bosnia, but then upon further questioning I found that they were Serbs (one woman was shopping in a halel meat market and I assumed she was a Muslim, but she quickly corrected me). Have many Serbs left Bosnia? Did they have more means to seek jobs and opportunities elsewhere, or is it just the aftermath of the war? Thanks again for your insights into this situation. Selma, in Belgium it was also the first news they gave. I am glad for you, your family and for the Serbian people that this monster is captured. It is a shame that some called him their hero. All these people including the monster have no feelings. I don't know how they can praise him as their hero knowing that more than 100.000 people were killed and wounded. And not to forget that you all are signed for live. This is so sad. And yes it took much too long before he was captured. This is incredible. And now that monster wants to defend himself ? Every punishment they will give him is too small. And all his friends who think he is a hero, should also be punished.
