:rotf: ricki! Many thanks!

Shipmate- 06-07-2007

Awwwwwwwwww!! ;angry: You mean I can't come now?!?! I'd really like to be a fly on the wall when the happy couple has to make a few of THOSE phone calls, wouldn't you?

StevieT- 06-07-2007

Oh, YES!!!!! Shipmate! A couple of very :blush2: faces indeed. (that's if this isn't just some kind of perverted spin to keep his wedding out there in the news. I mean, who announces to the world they're going to do something so crass as 'uninvite' people before they do it? Now everyone on the guest list is going to be wondering if it's them!) Some of them may wish it had been....... :tsk tsk: Linz

Shipmate- 06-07-2007

Very strange----I agree about the "spin" angle. But, isn't that a little much, I mean REALLY!! Get a bigger church and reception hall, darlings------- wedding plans often go awry-------call in the troops! But NEVER treat guests like this! (That's like trying to take the saliva back after you've licked the letter!!! Yuck!)

FloMo- 06-07-2007

This is really icky and I hope it isn't true. Maybe it's that tongue-in-cheek Ioan humor coming out again. In any case, you're right, Shipmate, they should just move to a bigger beach!

Shipmate- 06-07-2007

Hi FloMo, Hmm, tongue-in-cheek, maybe, but if not that's still milking the old publicity thing for all it's worth! (A bit disappointing if true :???: T---------ar la!

This is really icky and I hope it isn't true. Maybe it's that tongue-in-cheek Ioan humor coming out again. In any case, you're right, Shipmate, they should just move to a bigger beach! I hope too that it is a bit of Ioan's tongue-in-cheek sense of humor taken out of context. It's just difficult to imagine that if you seriously had to do something like uninviting people that you would announce it to the world. Contact Music does tend to take small snippets out of a larger articles which while accurate, play up certain aspects and don't always reveal the complete comment or its set-up. That problem has been seen before. GG

Re: Contact Music Snippets
http://www. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/article/gruffudd%20and%20evans%20package%20battles_1032840 Gruffudd And Evans Package Battles IOAN GRUFFUDD and CHRIS EVANS competed for the biggest codpiece on the set of FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER. Gruffudd admits his character Reed Richards' (Mr Fantastic) package was too big in the last Fantastic Four movie, producers agreed it should be smaller in the upcoming sequel. However, when the Welsh actor realised his co-star Evans was sporting a large trouser lump, he insisted his was boosted. He says, "There's been much debate about my groin area on these movies. I started out wearing a codpiece underneath the suit and, of course, everyone's eyes just locked onto it because it looked so massive. Then the memos started arriving saying we needed to make it smaller. So it got smaller and smaller until I was more like Action Man. "But this time it was all about Chris, who felt I got all the attention so decided to stuff a few socks down. Of course, I then had to tell him that I didn't have to pad it out with socks..." Nothing that big..... oh  sorry.... that beautiful could be real

If Mr. I didn't have a tooth in his head, he could still look pretty fine. WHERE do these stories come from???? HAHAHAHA!!

Silvia- 06-11-2007

the twilight zone!!!!!

midnightmagicgirl- 06-11-2007

This really is daft news I read in another interview that he has to wear a device at night to stop him from grinding his teeth.

http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/article/gruffudds%20dental%20disaster_1033630 Gruffudd's Dental Disaster Actor IOAN GRUFFUDD wears a head brace to bed because he teeth are so bad. The Fantastic Four actor is so desperate for a Hollywood grin that he wears a special tooth retainer to straighten out his smile while he sleeps. He says, "I wear an orthodontic retainer in bed at night. But I'm not embarrassed about it. I realised a while ago that acting is a business and my livelihood." Well, I wouldn't see it as a problem if he wanted to do it for himself. I thought he was proud of who he is and wouldn't want to change who he is to suit Hollywood...that lasted! I suppose the business is geared towards looks but, I don't see a problem with his teeth :hmm: I wouldn't allow myself to be influenced for silly things like that if I were an actress. But I suppose what puts bread on the table...

Frances- 06-11-2007

Well, I wouldn't see it as a problem if he wanted to do it for himself. Neither would I. I wore braces for years to straighten my teeth and I'm not an actress, so it is hardly surprising for me that Ioan takes a particular care of his smile, being in a business where good looks matter.

Silvia- 06-14-2007

I can think of another solution to help him keep his teeth busy during the night :naughty :plotting :hugs
