Contact Lenses for the very first time!!!!
So after 26 years of wearing glasses, I have gotten contact lenses. BEHOLD!!! I SEE. Like, EVERYTHING. ALL AROUND. ...and I'm a lot funnier looking than I thought. sr

I wore contacts for 15 years, but finally went back to my glasses about 1 years ago. I wondered why for a long time, then realisd I liked having the world fade out of focus at any desirable moment and taking off my glasses was much simpler. I'm blind as the proverbial bat without them and recently got varifocals. Now there's a whole new world for you! :wink:

I've been wearing contacts since age 13. I hate them, but hate wearing glasses more. If I had a spare couple thousand dollars lying around, I'd be going for the lasik surgery. I've actually been wearing my disposables for the past 4 or 5 months. Which is bad. But seeing as I don't have the $$$$ it takes to get new contacts at the present moment, I pray every morning that nothing goes terribly wrong when I put them in. However, it's getting increasingly difficult to see out of them not to mention they're getting dried out much quicker than they should. *sigh* I guess I'll have no choice but to cave soon and do a rain dance for money showers to buy some new contacts. :???:
