Hello. I called the warranty service to have news of my computer. It' still under tests. And they told me anyway they would not give me a whole new computer.:/ At best I'll have mine being repaired. Pfffff I feel it will be back with the same problem...

OK, my computer was back today. I'm using it now. It works. Well, this time they said it's the motherboard that was damaged. Mboh! They changed it (las time they said it was the hard drive, for the same problem I precisate, that was damaged and they changed it). I'll see if that works now...

OK, my computer was back today. I'm using it now. It works. Well, this time they said it's the motherboard that was damaged. Mboh! They changed it (las time they said it was the hard drive, for the same problem I precisate, that was damaged and they changed it). I'll see if that works now... Nicolette, when they change the motherboard (with memory and CPU), they're kind of admitting they don't know what's wrong. With a change of disk and motherboard, you should be good to go! Those are the ultimate changes to get a "lemon" working. I wish you well, I think that your problems should be solved. In essence, you have a new computer.

My computer is down again! It's a nightmare I don't understand :( I'm using my brother's old mobile computer again. It's not fair, I'm disgusted. And they won't give me a new computer, I have already asked. Pffff I don't want to send it again to the warranty service.

Sorry to hear you are having problems again. I'd certainly send it back to the warrenty service, maybe they will just replace it this time. Are there any government agencies or private business reporting companies you can report the problems you are having to? Or threaten to report to? Most companies do not want bad publicity over customer service issues. What about the company you bought it from? Was it a store that you can complain to? Even though, it is a pain to keep working at it, you should not just drop it, as a computer is a lot of money.

I'm sorry to hear you're still having problems with your computer, Nicolette. I'm with GG on this issue. Don't give up and insist that they fix your computer works fine or replace it with a computer working fine.

Thank you girls. :) Well they told me they won't replace it. :-/ They just will see what's wrong and maybe change again a component. Maybe again the Hard Drive, or the motherboard. I posted the computer today but it will "fly" only tomorrow. Pfff that will be long again (around 15 days).

Hopefully, your computer will work when you get it back. I guess that they prefer changing parts of a computer instead of replacing computers altogether when they're still under warranty because they think this costs them less (when it is an old computer no longer under warranty, the advice is usually to try and convince its owner to buy a new one), though if they have to repeatedly change parts of the same computer within a very short time, they would have had better giving that customer a brand new computer.

Thank you. Yes I think it costs them less to repair it than to change it with a new one. But with mine I think they are going to be nuts! Haha But I'm sure it's not my fault, thats the COMPUTER that has a problem. Really. So I don't care if they become "nut"s.
