Hey it looks like it's on track to possibly beating the first movie in worldwide sales!!! That's awesome!! I wouldn't mind seeing it again, but there are still 2 more movies coming out in the upcoming 2 weeks that I HAVE to see!!! My aunt is supposed to take her daughters this weekend to the drive-in to see it. I personally wouldn't go see a movie for the first time at the drive-in, but it's also less expensive when you have 3 people to pay for. :roll:

I don't think I've been to a drive-in in thirty years. Not that I would have minded. Most in my area of So. Cal. closed long ago and the only one I know of in my part of Washington is 40miles away and only open in summer. At this time in my life, I'd probably find to too distracting to have people getting up and moving around while I was watching the movie. Great news for FF4-2. I hope it continues. Gnat - since my question is a little off topic - why don't you let us know what else you are going to see this week on the Non-Ioan thread. I would love to hear what else is out there. I feel so isolated here sometimes. GG

GG - not a problem! I've been meaning to start a TRANSFORMERS and HARRY POTTER 5 thread anyway. We're getting ever so much closer to Harry!!! As for the drive ins, they closed all but 1 in my area as well. It's not a 40 mile hike like you have, but it's not as close as the ones that used to be open were. So sad how they used to be the best way for the family to be together and now - they're like dinosaurs. Extinct. Anyway, still great news for FF2!! :razz:

Hi All, I'm away from home all this month but am trying to keep up. This is the la-*test*-('") box office numbers as of July 2nd. Domestic: $114,944,684 66.0% + Foreign: $59,138,851 34.0% = Worldwide: $174,083,535 I wonder how this compares to FF1 numbers for 2 1/2 weeks?

Where do you guys go to find the la-*test*-('") #'s at the box office?? I would say that's not too bad at all for a couple weeks. (It didn't hurt that I have donated ticket money 3 times now, LOL) :mrgreen:
