Avatar Query??????
:???: :???: :???: I need some help whenever convenient-----when I'm trying to place an avatar, what does it mean in a message I received: avatar filetype must be .jpg,.gif,.png? How do I get there from here? :???: :???: :???:

.jpg, .gif and . png are the extensions identifying the image file types enabled for avatars, that is "Jpeg (Joint Photographic Expert Group)", "GIF (Graphic Interchange Format)" and "PNG (Portable Network Graphics)" formats. What you can do is to right-click on the file that you chose for your avatar and select "properties" from the menu that will appear, thereby you'll be able to check out which format your file is. If your file is in a format that is allowed for avatars, then if may be enough to add the appropriate extension to the file name so that the forum software will recognize it. If it isn't, you need to convert your file to an acceptable format. Photo/image editing software can do the trick. I can convert it for you, if you can't do it yourself (PM me, in this case).
