AVATAR Help
I have several icons saves on my hard drive and I want to use one here as my avatar. I have tried to copy and paste on the Avatar Control in my Profile, but all I get is the red "x" Can someone help me??? Thanks

Check it your icons are the right size: they have to be no greater than 140 pixels wide and 120 pixels high, and the file size no more than 6 KB for you to be able to upload them here.

When I go to the properties button it says 100 x 100 pixels. I think my computer HATES me - oh well, at least I can enjoy everyone else's icons and banners. :applaud:

*laughs out loud* I'm 'Lessy' *gggg* And glad you like that ava....I made it for Ashley's fantastic Live by the Sword fic series. I'm sure she'd be thrilled to know you are using it here. I hope you are reading her series? If not, let me know and I'll get you links. I have most of them hosted at Fallen Knights and she has all of them in her live journal. I also just replied to your PM at Fallen Knights, so hope you are good on avatars there as well.

Maiden, I should have put two and two together - I am registered at Fallen Knights too - as of course, Gerdie. I tried to use the icons from Fallen Knights but when I copy it says something about "Debug Mode" or something like that. I LOVE Ashley's LBTS Series - I have all the stories copied out and re-read them often. When you first started making the icons for her on this series, I asked if I could use them just to print out. Now I feel "honored" to be using them as my avatar. Tribute to my favorite "angst" boys!!!! Ashley also told me that I needed to "credit you" on my signature, but I am not sure how to do that. HEY, I figured it out. WHOO HOO - I may be a computer genius YET!!!
