Nice wallpapers, Selma! Thanks for sharing.
I've heard of "McLeod's Daughters", but I admit that though it sounds interesting, I've never found the time to watch it. Over here it has been broadcast every summer since 2003, the problem is that it has always been scheduled in the afternoon when I don't have time to watch TV.

That show is huge in Australia, I haven't watched one episode but all my friends love it.
Great wallpapers Selma =>

I watched some episodes sporatically and enjoyed it, but don't think that it plays anymore here. When it did play it was at a very inconvient time.

Firs of all I am happy you all like the McLD wallies!
Frances I am sorry that you haven't had the chance to watch it. And am glad you found it interesting.
Kaitlyn as I said I myself only thought that first 3 seasons were worth mentioning but I have sporadically seen following episodes of the show. But somewhat it lacked the magic like with Claire. I wish you have see it.
And if your friends love it please pass on the Wallpapers from me then!
I am sure they will love it!
I thank God every day for the re-runs though, since it is only way I could watch it! There is no way I could find them here to buy and I can't afford them over the net.
Gaffer's Girl I am glad you've enjoyed them but hate that they were at the bad time. The show has huge base of fans all over the world and its been said the the show is one of best known Australians drama overseas.

I really enjoy watching this series it has been one of, if not the, ok it is my favorite show in the whole wide world. And I'd like to share a promo video for McLeod's Daughters. I love the character of Claire she is the best. The show first aired in 2001 on Channel 9 in Australia and since than it became hit all over the world.
Watch promo video for McLeod's Daughters here
I really hope you will like it!
Hope it will be released here so I can maybe buy them. They are the best!!

I used to watch McLeod's daughters!
Haven't got a TV for nearly two years, so I've lost track pretty much with all the series I used to be hooked on.
I think if you like this series, you'd also like Flying Doctors. It's an old series but if they do rerun it, watch it. Oh, and McGregor saga is another one!
I so love the warm sense of humor Australian series have. I love it how McLeod's daughters is a serious drama series, but at the same time they have the Aussie humor present.
And I love your wallpapers, especially the second!

Selma, I actually managed to catch a bit of McLleod's Daughters the other day on a cable channel and must try and find more. I enjoyed what I saw, but was lost with the story (obviously!). It was someone's (Jodie?) 18th birthday party and there were many undercurrents between the characters.....I need to know more!!!!!

Glad you did Steve and if you have chance continue watching. I can pretty much say that I am an McLD addict, that how good it is. In the promo video you can see the main characters and who they are and what is about. And I'll try and help with the rest of the story.

I have many more McLD wallpapers that I made and I am glad you loved the ones I posted!

I know what you mean about Westerns, Selma. When I was growing up, Westerns were very popular and I loved them. Bonanza, The Virginian and High Chapparel were favorites. Whenever we traveled through Texa, Arizona or New Mexico I always imagined meeting with a Wagon Train or cowboys on horses.
StevieT- 03-23-2008
GG, I loved those three Westerns as a child, along with Alias Smith and Jones, of course (was Pete Duel gorgeous or what!!!!) And don't get me started on The Magnificent Seven and my secret vice ......this way to the Alley, Prisoner McQueen!
I think it's the adventure, danger and wild freedom of Westerns that attracts particularly Brits. I still harbour a desire to do one of those holidays where you live like a cowboy (Dude Ranch?) And of course, Bonanza reminds me of Max........
Frances- 03-23-2008
I remember watching quite a few Westerns as a child . Unfortunately, I admit I did not care much about the story, I just watched them because there were horses in them and I love horses.
Gaffer'sGirl- 03-23-2008
I loved the excitement and adventure. When I went horseback riding I would wear my white jeans and pretend to be Doris Day as Calamity Jane (a fun western musical). I too, loved horses, but have found that I'n allergic to them.
We also got to see the set of Bonanza when I was eleven, so that added fuel to the flame. I've seen parts of Magnificent Seven, but never the whole way through.
