About that DVD release date..... I'm no longer crediting this site: http://www.christiancinema.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1763 which keeps changing the date on us. It used to be June, now it's August. There's another site that still says December 1st. Perhaps in a couple weeks they will agree, eh? I was really hoping for June. Ah well. :sad: Lori

Ah, Amazing Grace dvd and its floating release date... :wink: I also hope AG will be come out on dvd sooner rather than later. Anyway, I expect that when a release date (even a tentative one) for AG dvd will be decided, it will be announced on the movie official web site(s) (no news on it can be found there yet). P.S.: The only good thing of it being released in December is that I could have it given as a birthday/Christmas present (I was born on Xmas day).

Well something tells me Australia isn't getting it after all, I checked IMDB and all the movie releases for Australia coming up. No AG mention...

IMDb's AG page still has 26 July 2007 as the release date for Australia. I'd wager were getting it, but in limited release. I noticed quite a few films missing from IMDb's list of Australian releases, so I'm not sure whether it's a full list.

I guess it's 'cuz I really, really, really, really want this DVD. Did I tell ya how much I really want this DVD??

I wrote to Walden Media to inquire about AG dvd release date and their Joanna Pedley simply responded that "There has not been a release date set for the DVD."

A bit of a tangent off the topic of dvd release... It's actually still playing in a second run theater in my neck of the woods. Just last week I took a friend who hadn't seen it yet. We went to a 6:30 pm showing on a Thursday ---20-25 people in the audience! Pretty....amazing!

I love that this is categorized as an "Oldie But Goodie"! ...William Wilberforce. I so loved Rufus Sewell in this film. And then Benedict Cumberbatch....and the actor who played Richared, the butler and.....just a great casting job all around. I'm glad you all will keep us up-to-date on the DVD release date. I was so looking forward to buying it in June. Does anyone think that they'll purposely hold off the release date to close to the end of the year for the sake of getting some attention for the Academy Awards' nominations? http://ilovemylifebrothersandsisters.blogspot.com/

I don't know if that would be the reason but that would be awesome if it was recognized by the Academy.

DVD- release? It's isn't even in theaters here. Never has been and i guess it won't come anymore. I checked the cinemas website and no mention of Amazing Grace anywhere. Upcoming film till december, and it's not there!!!!! ;angry: ;angry:
