It was nice to read this in-depth, positive review of AG. Thanks for sharing, Annee.
Nice little article from a Hull (Wilberforce's home town) website. My, doesn't 'Ioan' look dashing on horseback!

So many nice reviews here lately!! Good to see them all.
Did you spot the deliberate mistake, anyone?
I think I know.....................
I saw it right away. As much as I think "Rufus Sewell" is dashing, he just doesn't compare to Loan oh . . . Ioan on a horse.
Can't they cut Ioan any slack?
Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Sorry, couldn't resist. Is THAT really "it"? Just wanted to make sure.......................
Can't they cut Ioan any slack?
Yes, not content with missing his name off cast lists for movies he's starring in, they have to go and put a 'stand in' in his publicity pics!
(No disgruntled LOTF working at Amazon or on the Hull press, are there?) :plotting
.............(sigh!!).....................so, I DID see correctly then!...........(sigh!!).........
Did you spot the deliberate mistake, anyone?
 I spotted it at once. Dashing as he is, Rufus Sewell bears little resemblance with Ioan.
Thanks for sharing this nice review with us, Stevie.
I liked this review from the New York Press - slightly different take....

Another very nice review, and thank you Miss Annee. It's great to see them stacking up the way they are!
I hope these good reviews help with the DVD sales and maybe for something more. Fingers crossed.
Just saw Amazing Grace
Well -- I'm a little late to the party, but I bought the Amazing Grace DVD this week and watched it-- and watched it again, and then the commentary and then all the special effects.
I must say it is an extraordinary movie. Wilberforce was one amazing man.
I have very much enjoyed reading all the reviews in this thread since I missed them when they came out originally.
Not sure about anyone else, but I think this will be a life changing piece of cinema for me.
Charbv
I'm glad to hear you had the chance to watch Amazing Grace this week, Charlotte, and enjoyed it.
I found this was a very inspiring film and one of Ioan's best performances to date. I think it would have deserved a wider release than it actually had.
