Seeing as it mentions tenor, and is supposedly referring to Ioan's voice, (I agree that it is a compliment) did Ioan make himself sound like a tenor or something? Ioan's a baritone isn't he? In reply to zoo.station re Ioan's voice. (previous page) I have read that Ioan calls himself a high baritone. Somewhere in between tenor and baritone. He is according to sources, an Eistedford winner in Wales as a lad. In interviews I read he was sick with a cold/flu the day they filmed the singing sequence and was disappointed because he was straining his voice to get the song out. I would love to hear him sing when he is well. If you can find Solomon & Gaenor, there is an uncredited song that plays when S and G make love that is more than likely Ioan singing in Yiddish. I can't remember where I read it was him, but maybe somone else knows. GG

I have a video of Ioan singing the pancake song on my PC, but i'm not sure how to share it......any suggestions? Pics are no problem, but sound's a bit beyond me - blame the season!

I have that one, too. It's so cute with him both as a child and a young man singing the song. Maybe our computer whiz Frances :bow: has some idea of how to post it.

BTW: Is it just me or is the alignment on this thread all odd? For Me, who uses kdm2 profile, it is fine. :) But I had this problem, too. Sorry I cannot remember in what thread.

You can upload it to a multimedia host site such as www.mediafire.com and then simply posting a link. If you could do something like that it would be much appreciated because I would love to have him singing the Pancake Song as since the downfall of IOL I have swapped computers, therefore lost a tonne of clips. Oh, he's a top man, I like him a lot. Yeah, I saw him quite a bit when we were shooting FANTASTIC FOUR, and he was on BATTLESTAR, and I became a huge fan of that. He gave me the DVDs of the first two seasons. I would watch them in my trailer, and I was blown away by them. Oh thank you for that. I remembered this interview. Being a big fan of BSG myself I found it funny that Ioan would be one, too. :cool: Aaron Douglas seems to be a nice guy who spents a lot time and energy on BSG fans during conventions. He does seem to prefer movies, but maybe with Hairspray and High School Musical doing so well there will be a musical revival. :roll: Ok. I know. Very wishful thinking, but a woman can dream. I take it you,ve seen the footage from the Eisteddford? How old was Ioan then? According to what the Ajudicator said, Ioan was eleven and three-quarters. If no one else does it soon, I'll try to take the time to start an account and upload it. Some of this technical stuff takes me a little while to do and I work tomorrow through Wednesday.
