Hey!!!! Guess it pays to scream out to your postman......... IT'S IOAN DAY!!!!!!!!! AG came..... and my e-bay auction purchase from England arrived in perfect condition! It's a signed Sir Lancelot photo...........when I won it, I contacted the seller and asked her how she had originally obtained the photo, and she e-mailed back that Gill Gruffudd had donated the picture to her for a charity auction for handicapped children-----and that she had wound up bidding on, and winning it, herself.-------------So, it's georgeous, I'm happy, and Sir Lancelot is mine!!!!!!!!!!!! (Get hold of yourself, Girl!...........)

Just got it on DVD from Walmart!! Went with the 2 disc set (DVD, & music CD) since it was only a $1 more. YAY!! I'm so excited to watch it again!!

I noticed that the special edition at Walmart came with a CD, but I wouldve gotten that ONLY if it had been the true soundtrack - and not "music inspired by the movie." Since the Walmart closest to me is too far to go to today, I went to a Target (even though their website hasnt listed the movie at all.) They didnt have the special edition with the 'inspired by' music CD - but exclusive to Target it comes with a bonus DVD of "The Hunt For Lincoln's Assassin" What an interesting thing to include, dont ya think? It was included in all of the dvds, at the price of $19.99 I have yet to watch either the DVD, or bonus DVD - but have made plans do so later this evening. I hope everyone gets to enjoy this movie when they have the chance to. ~ Amanda

Hey Matey - congrats on the DVD and the Lancelot picture, you must be :dance today. Gnat -sorry you have to wait. Hope you get an early Christmas gift. Cherry and Amethyst - glad to hear you both were able to get the DVD today. I've been waiting so long and came down with a cold and called in sick to work, but alas no AG DVD to watch tonight. I didn't think it would look very good to walk into work and buy it while I'm sick and not coming into work. :roll: Even going to the local Wal-Mart wouldn't be a good idea because the town is so small I could run into someone I know from work. Hmmm! Of course, if I had a horrible coughing fit and needed to go to Wal-Mart to get some medicine, I could mosey past the DVD section :wink: . On the other hand, temps are already in the low 40's, so I'll just have to watch one of my other Ioan movies and wish all those viewing AG a wonderful evening and wishing I could join you in viewing tonight.

Surely hope you are feeling better today, Kiddo. I think that's a pretty good idea about going to get meds, and then just sort of sauntering by the DVD area, wouldn't hurt......................

Sorry for the double-posts, but I watched the film last night.......and isn't it just sooooooooo good?!! I mean good writing,good costumes,good photography,good music,good characters,good acting.....I just love this film......it's sad topic is treated in such a sensitive way. Haven't seen the commentary with Apted & Ioan yet, but know I'm going to enjoy it too. And the video of the song! Beautiful, stirring,sweet. Can anybody tell that I have found a new favorite film?

Thanks for the nice sentiments, Blue Eyes and Shipmate. I'm feeling about the same, but today is my official day off, so I'm going to get meds, tissues and a copy of Amazing Grace. The tissues will come in handy for my nose and my eyes and if anyone questions why I wasn't in at work yesterday - all I have to do is open my mouth and talk or cough. Shipmate - it is worthy of a double post and I may be doing the same later today when I get to watch AG again. I'm excited to share it with my family as none of them have seen it yet, but me first :wink: .
