May this be of use to someone? Films in the Memorial Hall. November 26, 2007 by parwich Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was screened in the Memorial Hall on Friday November 16th. The next film to be screened is Amazing Grace, on Friday November 30th at 7:30pm. The film is about the life of William Wilberforce, who was responsible for ending the British slave trade in the 19th century. It stars Ioan Gruffudd (as Wilberforce), Albert Finney, Michael Gambon, Rufus Sewell, Benedict Cumberbatch and Youssou N’Dour. Tickets are available from the village shop. Thanks for the alert, Annee. Hope someone lives in or around Parwich and can go to the screenings of AG. I guess it would also be an excuse to go and spend a weekend in beautiful Derbyshire for those who don't live there.
