Thanks for the articles and update on Agent Crush, Annee. GG

midnightmagicgirl- 05-16-2007

thankyou for the articles I enjoyed reading them

Thanks for posting this, annee  There's been several articles about this lurking around Google news actually. I just hope they get a distribution deal. I've got one general question though about the film: what's rod puppeteering?

StevieT- 05-21-2007

Using puppets on rods. :hammer Sorry, couldn't resist, but it's true.......

Thanks for these articles, Annee. (Sorry, slowly making my way around the forum to see what I have missed.) So, Agent Crush isn't based on anything, is that right? It's not an existing comic book or "character" of some form, but is new for this movie? Sounds like the film-makers are really living their dream. And I think it's fun that Ioan and AE get to work together again. FloMo

Looks like another step towards that James Bond role!

Whilst searching round on the internet I came across the Agent Crush website http://www.agentcrush.com/page.php?23 the link leads to a prview trailer with the making of the film and some interviews. I watched it and found the sound didn't work near the beginning but it's still worth a watch. I hope this is ok to post

Thanks for the link, Alex. If you wish to download and save the clip (wmv format, zipped) to your computer, you can do it from here http://www.free-file-host.com/0a152b1d68373a448e44e769b823f4c1

I just saw a clip from Agent Crush with the puppets on Youtube. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAgO6o7lHwU GG

Um....it looks shocking! Thanks for the articles and the clips but I think it looks terrible. Not my thing at all.

StevieT- 07-14-2007

Good link, Alex! i think it looks quite funny. That's got to be Brian Blessed's voice as the villain, hasn't it? i just love him - he's so full of everything!

JeepGirl83- 07-14-2007

Um....it looks shocking! Thanks for the articles and the clips but I think it looks terrible. Not my thing at all. It definitely looks "unique." To me, Ioan doesn't even sound like himself. Should be interesting for sure.

Shipmate- 07-14-2007

Uh............saw the clip, but I don't have sound, so don't get the full effect,...........but I don't know about this one!!!!!! The jury is definitely out on it for a good long while :?: :?: :?: ........................

Gerdie- 07-15-2007

Thanks for the articles and clips. Just watched the 10 minute video of the behind the scenes - did anyone notice that the music playing in the background is the same music used in King Arthur? I was listsening to the actors and then the music caught my attention, I had to think and replay, but then it hit me that it was in King Arthur - small world. Ioan's voice does sound funny but then again, he is a prototype robot - so I guess he has to have that monitone sound to his voice.

StevieT- 07-15-2007

I think his voice is an 'in-joke'. He seems to be doing a spoof of Roger Moore, who's also in the film. I remember a clip of the filming and Ioan's expressions as he recorded the voice were a take off of moore's famous 'one eyebrow' acting. could be totally wrong of course; I think they were all having a lot of fun.
