AG in NZ....
AG opens today - 19th July. Below is a scan from the advertising poster - both sides but smaller than original scans which were 3.2MB and too big to upload to tinypic.com If anyone wants larger versions - send me a pm with your email addy and I will send them off to you.

Also the brochure from the christian book shop was in my mailbox yesterday and it has some lovely AG related items, some of which have Ioan's face on them. I will scan that tomorrow for you all.

I have exactly the same ad at my local cinema, Marian (opens 26th in Aus). It was so exciting to see all these little AG handouts at my tiny little cinema. Thanks for the scan!

I didn't see any ads exactly like those in the U.S. I'll be interested in hearing what you thought of the movie. It's one of my favorite Ioan pics and ranks pretty high on my overall list, too. Enjoy! I can hardly wait for the DVD. GG

the last post makes me wonder how many NZzoners there are :alien: But anyway, I did manage to find some time today to scan the Manna Chritian Books catalogue that has the lovely boy on the front page. Yes I bought my book and received my free 2-1 movie ticket and I am going tonight (Fri) with my friend Miriam. front page:

:oops: sorry, I forgot to mention that the book "Amazing Grace of Freedom" is the book I bought for my free 2-1 movie ticket. It has lots of quotes from the movie's producers and soem of the actors. Yes, Ioan has a bit to say, but I will type that out on Monday night when I am babysitting and post Tues (all times NZ of course). It also has some pictures of William Wilburforce and locations of his house, memorial and statues. Page 3 Manna catalogue

Love the movie?? that would be the understatement of the year. It was so beautiful, and dare I say, Ioan's best role to date - including his performance as Hornblower. The Salvation Army and Trade Aid organsiations are using the movie to promote the fact that there is still slavery in Africa. The trade aid shop tell me that slavery exists in the cocoa industry. Havent checked that out yet.
