A running by an idea
all right, so I read this really sweet story on fanfiction when I was at school because I was bored and thought I may try my hand at a similar idea. So in the orginal story that I was reading, Johnny had a one night stand with an old childhood friend and she ended up having his child. Well she forced the child upon Johnny three years later (which he wasn't even aware he was a father) because the mother considered the child a freak because she had johnny's powers. My idea is: a baby is left on the steps by the mother, and the child is either Reed's or Johnny's, but here is the catch, since a lot of people did not like susan storm (and I'm assuming no one here is a die hard fan of the comics) I'm going to take her out. I'm going to create an absolute new character, not sure who she will be a love interst for(If she even will be) and all four of them have to take care of the new child. What do you think? Please tell me the truth, if enough people are intersted I can get on it right away monday.

Jules, I would give it a day or two to think about and if you are still inspired by the idea, go for it. There are quite a few of us here who are writer's and will give it a read. I find if a story holds on to me, I've got to write it. There will always be people who love what you do and others who it just won't by there type of story no matter how well it is written. If you decide to write it, I know I will read it. Many hugs, Gaffer's Girl

Ditto to GG's comments, Jules! Where fanfic is concerned, I find you've either got to write it, or you forget it. Give it time and the idea will tell you itself, if it's worth it. I'll certainly read it, if you write it. :hug

Well actually this urge has been bugging me since friday and it finally developed to a full fledge idea today. In fact, I may change the idea up a bit.

Actually my fav all time comic is the Fantastic Four (way before they came out with the movie) and Captain America... WoooHooo. Now there is a furture comic about Sue and Reed. Sad really cause he dies and she ends up marrying Dr. Doom. Just thinking about it makes me want to weep. :weeping

Let's hope they don't make that movie, Bonita :no no Mind you, Ioan does do a very good death scene (wonder what Reed's 'fish's mouth' would look like?) And Jules, here's a smile especially for you :writer's block

Actually my fav all time comic is the Fantastic Four (way before they came out with the movie) Oh! I hope I didn't offend you! I guess I shouldn't have assumed. Please forgive me And Jules, here's a smile especially for you :writer's block Yay! My very own emoticon. I feel special now!

I think you should write it. I mean, if you then feel you don't like it, then don't post it or you can alter it later to suit you better. I haven't yet seen the film so I can't be insulted. (I've been fingering the DVD so many times at the store they should let it be on sale for having so many fingerprints...) Or read comics, anyway. Only one X-Men where FF was their enemy. But anyone who's ever read any marvel comics can tell you that nothing's ever sure about them too, ditching characters, killing them and then bringing them back and making out plotlines that make many wild fanfics seem tame.

no worries Music! Are you still in the writing mood for writing your story?

I am since a lot of my homework has finished. I'll probably start it tomorrow since I'l finally be finished with my AP tests.
