Lashalot out in to the river but

a huge fish leapt up and

frightened the poor man to death

On the bank, the maiden

fired an arrow and hit the

giant fish. "Dinner's up!" she laughed,

but the knight was sulky after

the dead fish landed on him.

He remembered how he couldn't swim

got angry and sat there eating

cake, while Lashalot flailed around in

dismay as it began to rain
