Well, Stevie, I am shocked! :shock
:happy Kidding.
...I'm not shocked at all ..
Wilde!!
True!!!!!
I´m the eternal optimist and I still hope ever so patiently
More than likely Ioan wouldn't mind something a bit more risque in spirit, character, role and topic ( and body) than FF. Can't take what you're not offered. Guess we all need to keep our toes crossed that he can get that special role that will :wall: help him break though the brick wall or glass ceiling to roles that are both box office and meaningful.
I'll even keep my eyes crossed for THAT, GG!
Me, too. Or at least I'll give it a try.
I´m all twisted and in pain but I´m keeping everything crossed
:happy Please tell me that was a joke, I'll be one cruel human being for laughing if you really are all twisted and in pain!
Does anyone in the UK or anyone esle that can help know which channel the Golden Globes is going to be broadcast on?
The Golden Globes will be broadcast on NBC in the USA and Sky Movies Premiere in the UK.
That's interesting. I didn't think they would bother broadcasting the show given that the actors won't be attending.
This appeared in our newspapers today:
instead of the traditional dinner and awards ceremony, this year's Golden Globes winners would be revealed during an hour long press conference at 6 pm (0200 GMT) Sunday in Beverly Hills.

As for AG, maybe BAFTAs? Although "Elizabeth" and "The Golden Compass" might still overshadow it.
Hope Ioan is in UK looking for work. I know he said he wouldn't but now that the SAG have gone out in sympathy of the writers he'll need work to afford "the Hollywood Dream" surely?

Nominations for the BAFTAs will be announced on Wednesday, 16 January, so we will discover next week if AG gets one. I'm afraid though that the movies that overshadowed it for other awards so far will overshadow it in this case, too.

I hope he is in the UK looking for work, too. With writers striking and the SAG out in sympathy of the writers, this must not be the best moment for an actor to look for work in Hollywood.
So what's happened with the Globes? Like what is the problem that it may have to be press conference rather than the whole ceremony thing?
